Daraz.pk product data: seller offers, variants and prices

A Pakistan-focused guide to Daraz.pk listings, seller offers, variants, promotions and fulfillment, with current terms, robots rules and seller API context.

A Daraz product page is not the same record as its seller offer

Daraz Pakistan’s Marketplace Agreement says sellers list their own products and the platform shows each product as sold by its seller. A product reference and its seller’s offer answer different questions. A detail page may also show selectable variants; similar pages can represent separate seller offers. Preserve the Daraz.pk URL, seller context and chosen option together instead of assuming one page represents every offer.

Record levelWhat to retain when visibleWhy it matters
Marketplace pageDaraz.pk URL, product title, category and any page identifier.Keeps the Pakistan storefront and the catalog reference distinct from other Daraz markets.
Seller offerSeller or shop name, seller-specific product number, stated price and observation time.A seller offer can change while the catalog page remains recognizable.
Selected optionChosen color, size, model, pack or other option, plus the associated SKU only when shown or available through authorized seller data.An option may have different specifications, price or availability; do not attach one variant’s values to every option.
Observed stateDisplayed currency, promotion, availability and delivery context, with the page URL and date/time.Offers and labels are time- and market-specific observations, not permanent product facts.

Keep the seller’s price separate from Daraz promotions

The current seller agreement distinguishes a seller’s Listed Price from promotions or discounts Daraz may apply over it. Its required product information includes category, identifiers, brand, model, dimensions, weight and technical specifications, alongside availability, shipping information and Listed Price. For Daraz.pk comparisons, retain the displayed currency (normally PKR on the Pakistan storefront), selected option and observation time; a page price is not automatically a final checkout amount or completed sale.

Product identity and specificationProduct number or identifier, category, brand, model and the displayed technical attributes.Compare matching models and specifications; similar titles alone do not prove equivalence.
Seller Listed PriceSeller’s displayed price, currency and selected option, where the page makes them explicit.Keep seller price with the offer and date; do not treat it as a platform-wide price for every seller.
Daraz promotion or discountVisible markdown or platform promotion, its label and observation date. The seller agreement describes promotions over the seller Listed Price; do not silently replace one with the other.
Delivery and checkout chargesDisplayed shipping or destination context when available, separate from item price.Do not infer the final checkout total from the product page price alone.
Price historyA new dated observation for each seller and selected option.Do not overwrite a prior seller price with the latest displayed value.

Variant, inventory and delivery labels describe different states

A selected product option belongs beside the seller offer it describes. Availability is another field, not proof of a precise inventory count. Daraz’s seller agreement places responsibility for product information on the seller and says Dropship sellers maintain and update inventory through Seller Center. The buyer Terms also say seller-provided representations such as price and stock are not guaranteed to be completely accurate. Keep the visible wording and observation time rather than converting it into an exact quantity or guarantee.

Variant, inventory and delivery labels describe different states
SignalWhat to preserveWhat not to infer
Option or variantThe currently selected color, size, model, pack or other option and its own listed price or availability if displayed. That every option on the page has the same price, specifications or stock state.
Availability labelExact page wording, seller context and time observed. An exact stock count or a promise that an order can be fulfilled later.
Delivery estimateDestination or postcode context and the estimate shown at that time, if present.A universal delivery date or an inference about the seller’s warehouse model.
Seller inventoryTreat it as seller-managed information; consult the current seller agreement for the applicable rules.A public label as an independently verified inventory feed.

Dropship and Daraz Express are seller fulfillment models

Daraz Pakistan’s Marketplace Agreement distinguishes two seller-side fulfillment models. In Dropship, the seller maintains product inventory at its own premises and makes it available for delivery. In Daraz Express, the seller’s products are stored at a Daraz fulfillment center while ownership remains with the seller. These definitions help interpret seller operations; they do not identify a buyer-facing delivery estimate or prove which model applies to a particular product unless the source says so.

Keep Daraz.pk observations separate from other Daraz markets

This guide covers Daraz.pk and the Pakistan marketplace. Daraz’s corporate site currently lists Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal as separate operating markets. Record the exact storefront and currency with every observation; a product title or identifier from another country site does not by itself establish a match, equivalent price or shared availability.

Read Daraz’s terms, robots.txt and seller API evidence separately

The Daraz.pk Terms grant a limited license for personal shopping and expressly restrict commercial or third-party use and collection of product listings, descriptions or prices, as well as data mining, robots and similar gathering tools, unless Daraz has expressly permitted that use in advance. The current robots.txt file lists its own crawl directives, including /catalog/ and /shop/*.htm. A robots rule does not grant permission to reuse data or override the Terms. Daraz Open Platform documentation describes app-based APIs and seller authorization, but its published guides are dated and do not establish the current scope of a particular application or anonymous access to the public catalog.

Its displayed update date is 2024-04-15; the API reference shows 2023-05-19.The public pages do not establish current endpoint availability or an app’s permissions.
