Daraz Bangladesh refund data: payment routes and timelines
Daraz Bangladesh publishes payment-specific refund destinations and processing times. Preserve the refund trigger, payment rail, destination account, and policy page alongside each order outcome.
Refund timing starts at different order events
Daraz Bangladesh distinguishes return, cancellation and failed-delivery refunds. The refund clock begins after the relevant event is processed, not necessarily on the day a return request is filed. The published policy describes general timing; a specific refund, contact, destination account and order status are private buyer transaction records.

| Refund case | Published start event | Order fields to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Returned item | Refund processing begins after the item reaches the warehouse and passes quality control. | Return request, warehouse receipt, QC result and refund-processing start date. |
| Cancelled order | The refund is triggered automatically after cancellation is processed successfully. | Cancellation request and completion timestamps, then refund trigger. |
| Failed delivery | Processing begins after the item reaches the seller and may take longer depending on the shipping-address area. | Failed-delivery status, seller receipt date, destination area and refund start. |
| Refund amount | Daraz says the amount for a returned product covers its item price and shipping fee. | Item amount, shipping fee and approved refund total as separate values. |
The original payment method determines the refund route
Daraz's current Refund Policy table gives different destinations and working-day estimates by payment method. Its published maximum timeline excludes weekends and public holidays; mobile-wallet refunds return to the same mobile account details used at payment. Keep actual wallet numbers, bank details, registered email and individual refund status only in buyer-owned or authorized transaction records.

| Daraz Refund Voucher or Daraz Voucher | Refund voucher sent to the registered Daraz email; redeemable against that email. | 1 working day; keep the email and voucher private to the buyer's account. |
Daraz's live return pages give different request windows
The Returns Policy page states a 14-day request window for damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete items; the Returns & Refunds FAQ says 7 days. The same FAQ gives slightly different card, bKash and COD refund estimates from the Refund Policy table. Keep the exact cited page and item eligibility with each claim rather than treating either FAQ number as a universal rule.

|---|---|---|
| Returns Policy | 14 days for damaged, defective, incorrect or incomplete items; return eligibility varies by category. | Record category, issue, order date, delivery date and the specific policy version/page used. |
| Returns & Refunds FAQ | States a 7-day request window; lists card refunds at 9–10 working days and bKash/COD at 4–5 working days. | Keep this as a separate official source statement; do not average or merge with the Refund Policy table. |
| Category exceptions | The Returns Policy permits change-of-mind returns for selected fashion items, excludes overseas non-DarazMall items from that rule, and labels digital goods non-returnable. | Preserve item category, seller/overseas status, return reason and item-page eligibility. |
