Daraz Pakistan payment data: Easypaisa and shop tokens
Daraz Pakistan's Easypaisa checkout is not one payment path: mobile-account authorization, an agent-shop token and card payment have different events and deadlines. Preserve the selected rail and payment result with the order.
Daraz Pakistan separates Easypaisa payment paths
Daraz's Pakistan payment pages list Easypaisa mobile account, Easypaisa Shop and Visa/Mastercard card payment. The Easypaisa Shop page also names COD and bank transfer as alternate checkout methods; actual availability is determined for the order at checkout. A payment rail, token, phone/network context and payment result belong to the buyer's transaction record, not a public product listing.

| Payment rail | Published checkout path | Order data to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| Easypaisa mobile account | Authorize through the Easypaisa mobile account flow. | Selected rail, account/network path, authorization state and confirmation. |
| Easypaisa Shop | Generate a consumer token and pay through an Easypaisa shop agent. | Use a redacted payment reference, issue time and expiry only in the buyer's authorized order record; never expose the token itself. |
| Easypaisa card | Daraz routes Visa/Mastercard credit or debit payment through Easypay. | Keep only the network/type and payment state in the authorized transaction record; do not collect card credentials. |
| Other checkout methods | The Easypaisa Shop page lists COD and bank transfer as other Daraz payment options. | Selected option and order-specific eligibility; do not infer that all options apply to every item. |
An Easypaisa Shop order expires if its token is unpaid
After checkout, Daraz says it generates a payment token. The customer pays at an Easypaisa shop against that token within 24 hours; an unpaid token after that period causes automatic order cancellation. Individual tokens, consumer numbers, notification destinations and order/payment results are private buyer transaction data.

| Event | Daraz's published flow | Useful transaction fields |
|---|---|---|
| Token creation | A random token appears after the buyer confirms the order; the page also describes an SMS consumer number. | In the buyer's authorized order record, keep a redacted reference, creation time, expiry and notification state; omit the token, phone number and recipient address. |
| Shop payment | The buyer gives the token to an Easypaisa shop agent; the payment deadline is 24 hours. | Keep the payment channel and confirmation event in the authorized order record; do not publish the token or buyer-specific amount. |
| Payment receipt | Daraz describes SMS and email confirmation after payment processes successfully. | Record confirmation time/state only; do not expose the buyer's phone number or email address. |
| Unpaid expiry | After 24 hours without payment, the order is automatically cancelled; the general Easypaisa help says expired tokens cannot be refreshed. | Token expiry, unpaid status and cancellation reason; a new order is required to retry. |
Mobile-account approval depends on the network path
Daraz's Easypaisa mobile-account instructions distinguish Telenor and other mobile-network users. They describe SMS or app confirmation for Telenor accounts and an app confirmation path for other networks, with a short authorization window. Network/account linkage, approval prompts and payment outcomes are private buyer transaction records, not public listing fields.

| Account path | Published instruction | Comparison fields |
|---|---|---|
| Telenor account path | The payment can be accepted by SMS or in the Easypaisa mobile app. | Where authorized, keep network path, prompt and confirmation state only; do not retain a phone number or SMS contents. |
| Other mobile networks | Daraz says confirmation is through the Easypaisa app. | Network path, app prompt, authorization result and confirmation time. |
| Prompt deadline | The instructions say to complete the app payment within 60 seconds after selecting “Pay Securely.” | Prompt issue time, completion time and timeout/cancel state. |
| Order state | Daraz lists COD, Easypay card, Easypay Shop and bank transfer as alternate checkout methods if mobile-account payment fails. | Keep failed authorization separate from any later method change or successful payment. |
