Vestiaire Collective resale listings and data
Map Vestiaire Collective listings by reference, seller, condition, size, asking price and delivery mode. Separate seller claims from item checks and private offers.
Preserve the one-off listing's identity
Vestiaire Collective listings describe individual resale items rather than stable retail SKUs. A reviewed U.S. example, reference 69946061, displays its online date, category and subcategory, designer and model, condition, material, color, regional size, location and reference. Use those labels as a field example, not a universal record contract or a live price observation.

| Listing field | Keep with the observation | Comparison boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Listing reference | Exact listing URL and displayed reference; preserve the date the page was observed | A product reference identifies one listing, not every item with the same brand/model. |
| Product description | Category, subcategory, designer/model, material, color and seller-entered condition under their original labels | Seller-entered attributes are listing claims, not independent verification. |
| Size and market | Displayed size system, listing location/market and currency shown with the item | Do not compare a regional garment size as if it were a measured dimension or a universal size. |
| Seller/service label | Only the seller type or service label shown on that listing | Do not publish seller names or profiles, infer personal identity, or assume Vestiaire Collective owns the item. |
Keep condition claims separate from physical checks
Vestiaire's seller guidance asks sellers to select an accurate condition and show or describe defects. Its measurement guidance uses item-specific conventions and recommends checking the brand's own size guide. Preserve what the seller stated separately from a later quality-control or authentication result.

| Evidence | How to record it | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Condition | Seller-selected grade, description and visible defect evidence as separate fields | A seller-selected grade by itself is not an authentication or conformity result. |
| Clothing fit | Original regional size label and brand size-guide reference when available | A size label is not a body measurement or a guaranteed fit across designers. |
| Item measurements | Value, unit, item type and the source's measurement method; for bags, keep height, base width and optional depth distinct | For the documented bag method, exclude handles from height and exterior pockets from measurements; do not invent missing dimensions. |
| Quality-control outcome | Record a result only when a listing- or order-specific inspection/report is actually shown | A platform service description does not prove that this particular item was checked. |
Separate asking prices from private offers and payouts
The Seller Terms describe confidential Make an Offer negotiations: a seller can accept, reject or counter an offer. They also say a seller price reduction may leave the previous ask crossed out. A public asking price is not a completed sale price, accepted offer, or seller's net proceeds.

| Price evidence | Useful fields | Keep private or unresolved |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed ask | Amount, currency, listing reference, observation time and any visible previous ask/discount label | Do not label the ask as sold price, transaction value or final checkout total. |
| Make an Offer | The public listing's offer availability, if shown, is a feature label only | Actual offer, counteroffer, acceptance and rejection are confidential account negotiations, not public price observations. |
| Seller fees and payout | Use only a public fee statement that applies to the stated market and date | Seller-specific fees, deductions and payout belong to authorized seller/order records; do not derive them from the listing ask. |
| Price history | Keep every observed ask tied to the same listing reference and date | A price change or removal does not establish that the item sold. |
Tie authentication status to the chosen delivery method
Vestiaire Collective's buyer help page distinguishes three delivery labels. Authenticated Shipping routes the seller's item through a center for physical authentication and quality control; Direct Shipping sends it from seller to buyer, with optional seller-selected physical authentication; Express Delivery means the item is at Vestiaire Collective and has already been checked. Eligibility varies by item and market.

| Displayed delivery method | Source-described path | Record boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Authenticated Shipping | Seller sends the item to a Vestiaire Collective authentication center; approved items are forwarded to the buyer | Record the label and any item-specific check/report. A general service description is not a result for every listing. |
| Direct Shipping | Seller ships directly to the buyer; the seller may choose physical authentication | Keep the listing's own authentication choice distinct from the platform's other delivery paths. |
| Express Delivery | The help page says this option means the item is in stock at Vestiaire Collective and already checked for authenticity and quality conformity | Use only when this delivery label appears for the listing; do not infer from seller type, brand or condition. |
| Order evidence | For an authorized buyer record, keep order ID, destination, selected delivery option and any supplied report together | Buyer address, order ID, payment and return details are private account records, not public listing fields. |
Read crawler guidance separately from site terms
Vestiaire Collective's robots.txt labels search/retrieval crawling as allowed and model-training crawling as not allowed, with additional bot and path rules. Its Website Terms separately require prior written consent for third-party applications interacting with the site, including scripts designed to scrape or extract data. The robots file is crawler guidance; it does not grant content-reuse rights or replace those Terms.

| Source statement | What it says | Practical distinction |
|---|---|---|
| robots.txt | The reviewed file says search/retrieval crawling is allowed and model-training crawling is not; its displayed last-modified value is 09/04/2026 | Preserve the file's displayed date format because its day/month order is ambiguous; check bot-specific and path-specific directives. |
| Website Terms of Use, section 12 | Third-party applications interacting with the website, including scraping or extraction scripts, require prior written consent | Do not treat a permissive crawler directive as permission to use a third-party application or extract site data. |
| User Content, sections 6 and 10 | Product pages may contain user descriptions and photographs; the Terms place accuracy and rights responsibility on the user and protect other site content | Reading a field does not transfer rights to republish listing text, seller photos, profiles or personal information. |
