Fashionphile resale listings: item identity and condition
A guide to Fashionphile’s one-off luxury resale listings: item IDs, brand and model, condition notes, included accessories, measurements, price context and sold-out status.
Read Terms links and robots directives as separate boundaries
Fashionphile links Terms of Use and Seller Terms from its support center, but the linked pages returned a generic loading/CSS error on October 4, 2026; their collection and reuse clauses cannot be summarized from readable source text. The current robots.txt lists path-specific crawler directives for account, search, cart/order/checkout, filtered or sorted collections, recommendations and selected remote-product paths; a separate Nutch group disallows /. These are crawler instructions, not permission to reuse listing content. This guide describes the structure of buyer-facing, item-level listings.

| Evidence | What is visible | Interpretation boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Terms of Use and Seller Terms (checked October 4, 2026) | Fashionphile links both policy pages from its support center; both returned a loading/CSS error instead of readable terms text. | Do not infer their current collection, reuse or automated-access rules from inaccessible pages. |
| robots.txt (checked October 4, 2026) | The default crawler group lists account, search, cart/order/checkout, sorted or filtered collections, recommendations and selected remote-product path rules; Nutch has a sitewide disallow. | Crawler directives describe routing. They do not grant content-reuse rights. |
| Buyer-listing guide | A source-specific guide to item identity, condition, included pieces, measurements and market-scoped listing context. | Listing fields do not establish a sale event, provenance beyond the stated source text, or reuse permission. |
A Fashionphile listing describes one physical piece
Model listings on Fashionphile are item-level resale offers rather than a conventional retail SKU with interchangeable variants. Use one record per displayed Item # and keep the title's designer or style reference separate from Fashionphile's own listing identifier. Two listings that describe the same designer model can still represent different physical items, condition and included pieces.

| Record group | Fields to preserve | Keep distinct |
|---|---|---|
| Listing identity | Fashionphile Item #, canonical listing URL and observation timestamp | Item # identifies a Fashionphile listing, not a designer model, serial number or provenance code. |
| Item identity | Designer or brand, listing title, item type, material, color and style/model when stated | Preserve only explicit page fields; do not parse an unstated model or reference from text or photos. |
| Size and measurements | Fashion or model size where present; each physical dimension with its source label and unit | Keep an item’s size label separate from its physical dimensions; fields depend on item type and may be absent. |
| Condition and completeness | Literal selected condition grade, area-specific notes, exact “Comes With” list and explicit exclusions | Keep localized wear and missing pieces visible; do not flatten them into a single condition score. |
| Price and market | Displayed amount, currency and storefront/market context | Do not silently convert currencies or merge shipping, tax and item price. |
| Listing state and evidence | Available/Sold Out label, observation time and source URL | A current page label does not reveal the sold date, transaction price or time listed. |
Read condition notes beside the included-pieces list
Fashionphile displays a selected condition grade alongside item-area notes and detailed photos. The grade and notes answer different questions: a single label does not replace the described wear, repairs or missing pieces. Preserve the literal selected grade and the source's wording by area; do not turn prose into a universal score. Keep the “Comes With” list intact, including explicit not-included entries.

| Listing detail | How to represent it | Avoid inferring |
|---|---|---|
| Condition grade | Store the exact displayed value, such as the item's selected source label | Do not assign a grade by applying Fashionphile's general definitions to photos or a description. |
| Area notes | Keep notes attached to their stated area, such as exterior, handle, interior, hardware or other | Do not combine localized wear into an unqualified condition score. |
| Comes With | Capture each included item and each explicit “not included” note as shown | Do not assume an original box, receipt, strap, dust bag or accessory is included. |
| Photos | Keep the source page reference for authorized human review | Do not copy or republish listing photos or use them to assert authentication. |
Attribute authentication and provenance statements to Fashionphile
Fashionphile says each item it sells is authentic and backed by its digital Certificate of Authenticity. Its process page describes expert review for ultra-luxury bags and accessories, seller ownership attestations and proof of purchase for new merchandise. These are Fashionphile’s stated procedures and guarantee; a buyer-facing listing does not expose the post-purchase certificate or independently establish an item's ownership chain.

| Company statement | What the source says | What a public listing does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Review process | Fashionphile describes expert review for ultra-luxury handbags and accessories and states that its items are backed by its authenticity guarantee. | Attribute the guarantee and process to Fashionphile; a public listing alone is not an independent authentication result. |
| Ownership history | Fashionphile says seasoned sellers attest they are rightful owners and new sellers of new merchandise provide proof of purchase | This does not identify the acquisition route or complete provenance for a particular buyer listing. |
| Digital certificate | Fashionphile says its digital certificate is accessed after purchase from the item's QR-tag | Fashionphile says the digital certificate is accessed after purchase from the item's QR-tag; a public product page does not expose it. |
| Public evidence limit | The company describes its authentication and seller intake procedures. | Those statements do not establish an outside user's independent provenance or authentication record for a particular listing. |
Keep dimensions and price tied to the displayed market
A listing may provide fashion size or model size, physical dimensions, or both. Preserve each dimension label and unit as published instead of collapsing measurements into a generic size. Fashionphile offers country and currency selection, so a price observation needs its storefront market and displayed currency. Prices are volatile and are omitted from this guide; exclude tax or shipping unless represented separately by the source.

| Observation | Record it as | Context to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Item size | The exact displayed size label, if present | Do not infer a size from measurements or the product name. |
| Physical dimensions | Each source label and value with its unit | Dimension labels vary by product category; preserve missing fields as unknown. |
| Displayed price | The amount and currency from an authorized observation | Record the selected country/storefront and observation time; do not silently convert or mix in tax/shipping. |
Treat Sold Out as a page state, not a sale record
Store the exact listing state, such as available or Sold Out, together with the time it was observed. A Sold Out label establishes what the page displayed at that observation time. It does not reveal when the item sold, a transaction price or how long it was listed. Historical comparisons require authorized observations with recorded timestamps; do not backfill unobserved events.
Scroll to compare →
| Field | Meaning | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Listing state | The state rendered on the item page at observation time | A later Sold Out state does not provide an exact sale event or date. |
| Observation time | When an authorized snapshot recorded the visible page state | Do not substitute the page's update time or assume an observation cadence. |
| Longitudinal comparison | Compare repeated records for the same Fashionphile Item # when those authorized observations exist | Do not claim historical prices, time-on-site or sell-through from a current page alone. |
Buyer listings do not reveal the seller-side acquisition route
Fashionphile describes online offers, Luxury Sales buyouts and consignment as separate seller processes. Those processes are not buyer-listing fields, and the reviewed listing does not identify which route supplied its individual piece. Leave acquisition route, consignor identity and ownership chain unknown unless an item-level public field explicitly states them.
Scroll to compare →
| View | Fashionphile's described process | Buyer-listing limit |
|---|---|---|
| Online offer | A seller submits item details for Fashionphile's offer process | The presence of an offer process does not identify a listed item's source. |
| Luxury Sales buyout | Fashionphile describes appointments and a buyout offer for accepted items | Do not tag an individual listing as a buyout without item-level evidence. |
| Consignment | Fashionphile describes a separate consignment route | Do not infer consignor identity, terms or payout from a buyer-facing listing. |

| Question | Answer | Record implication |
|---|---|---|
| Why model one Fashionphile Item # at a time? | Each listing represents a particular piece, and another listing of the same style may differ in wear, measurements or included accessories. | Keep the Fashionphile Item # distinct from a maker's model or reference. |
| Does Sold Out reveal the transaction price or sale date? | No. It records only the page status visible at the observation time. | Do not create a sale event or historical price without a separately observed source. |
| Does a public listing independently establish authenticity or provenance? | No. A guide can attribute Fashionphile's stated review process, but it is not an independent authentication or ownership-chain record. | Keep company statements attributed and provenance unknown unless explicitly published for that item. |
