TikTok Shop product data: listings, SKUs and price context
Map TikTok Shop products by market, shop, product ID, selected SKU, variation, displayed price, discount and shipping. Separate public listings from authorized seller APIs.
Keep TikTok Shop product, shop and selected variation distinct.
TikTok Shop U.S. guidance describes an Anchor Product that connects variations on one product page; each variation is a separate SKU with its own attributes. Preserve public page labels and use internal identifiers only when the chosen authorized source supplies them.

| Record layer | Fields to retain when provided | Join rule |
|---|---|---|
| Shop and market | Shop name or identifier, exact product URL, country/region, currency and observation time. | Keep each shop and market view separate; a localized page is not interchangeable with another country's offer. |
| Product page | Product or Anchor Product ID when exposed, title, category and source URL. | Do not use a title alone as a stable cross-shop product key. |
| Selected variation | Selected SKU ID if supplied, exact size/color/other option labels and any selected-offer state. | Each variation represents an individual option; attach price and availability to the selected SKU when identifiable. |
| Seller SKU | Seller's internal SKU code only from an authorized seller API or supplied shop record. | TikTok's API describes seller_sku as an internal seller code not visible to buyers; do not infer it from the public page. |
The listing price may refer to a different SKU than the selected option.
TikTok Shop's U.S. pricing guide says the primary customer-facing price is the lowest price in a listing. Compare that page-level amount with the selected variation's own price where the source exposes it; keep discounts and delivery charges at their stated scope.

| Price evidence | What to preserve | Comparison boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Primary listing price | Displayed minimum or primary amount, currency, market, product URL and observation time. | Under the U.S. guide, this can be the lowest-priced SKU in the listing, not the selected option's price. |
| Selected-SKU price | Selected variation, amount and currency when shown by the page or authorized response. | Do not copy the listing minimum onto every variation. |
| Discount or coupon | Promotion label, eligible SKU, stated conditions and time/market context. | A discount or creator price claim may apply only to selected variants or eligible viewers; do not treat it as universal. |
| Shipping and tax | Destination, displayed delivery charge and any checkout/tax context the source shows. | An item amount is not automatically the delivered or checkout total. |
| Time series | Source URL, country, selected SKU, price basis and retrieval time for each observation. | Do not merge changes in option, market or promotion into one product-price series. |
A public product page and a Partner Center API are different access paths.
TikTok Shop's Partner Center Search Products API is a seller/shop endpoint. Its documented request uses the authorized shop identifier, app key, signature and seller/shop access token; an endpoint's own authorization and market requirements still apply.

| Source | What it can describe | Access and identifier notes |
|---|---|---|
| Shopper-facing product page | Listing text, visible variation choices, displayed price/promotion and shop identity when shown. | Public presentation may omit product/SKU IDs and does not expose the seller's private inventory or order records. |
| Search Products API v202309 | Products associated with the authorized shop and API filters; the endpoint returns key product properties and can lead to a product-detail request. | The reference uses shop_cipher, app key, request signature and the x-tts-access-token header. Follow the current app approval, seller authorization, endpoint scope and market rules. |
| Platform SKU ID | TikTok Shop-generated identifier for a product variation when returned by an authorized endpoint. | Keep distinct from the seller's own SKU code and from an option label on a public page. |
| Seller SKU | Merchant-defined internal code used to manage its products. | The API documentation says this value is not visible to buyers; keep it in the seller-authorized context that supplied it. |
Keep Seller Center, creator activity and ads in their own records.
A TikTok Shop product listing is not a complete commerce dataset. Seller-owned orders and analytics require the seller's authorized access; creator/affiliate operations use a separate identity; paid ad data belongs to an advertising surface.

| Question | Separate data path | Keep distinct from the product page |
|---|---|---|
| A seller's orders, fulfillment or analytics | TikTok Shop Seller Center and the endpoint scopes authorized for that shop. | Private account activity, order fields and analytics are not public listing attributes. |
| Creator or affiliate collaboration | The creator-facing authorization path and creator-scoped API permissions where applicable. | A creator/video record is not the product's seller listing or seller token. |
| Paid campaign performance | TikTok Ads Center and its advertising access path. | Do not describe ad spend, reach or conversion as a public product-page field. |
| Live commerce video | A separately scoped live-commerce workflow, if one is available to the project. | A product-card URL does not provide a live video or its audience and engagement data. |
Market availability and product data scope vary by country.
TikTok's announcements identify where its in-app shop operated on a stated date. They do not guarantee every buyer sees the same shop, checkout currency or fulfillment options, or that seller APIs are available. Compare the market, shop and access context with each observation. The rows below summarize dated statements and their scope.
