Ooni USA product data: pizza ovens, fuel and fit
A field guide to Ooni USA product data: oven model and generation, fuel, dimensions, bundle contents, accessory compatibility, and observed US offers.
Ooni USA is an oven-led catalog with distinct product layers
The Ooni US store covers more than accessories. Its current catalog groups pizza ovens, oven bundles, tools and fuel, dough products, and spiral mixers. Keep the regional storefront and product type attached to each record.

| Catalog layer | Record it as | Keep distinct from |
|---|---|---|
| Oven model | Named family, model, generation, and canonical product page. | A family label alone does not establish every fuel or size option. |
| Selected configuration | The option shown for color, fuel source, gas type, voltage, or plug when the product offers one. | The base model and its other configurations. |
| Bundle | A kit with its own title and component list. | The oven alone or an accessory sold separately. |
| Accessory or fuel | A tool, burner, cover, stone, or fuel product with its own model and options. | A compatibility claim inferred from being in the same store collection. |
| Other Ooni product | Dough products, spiral mixers, and other store categories. | Pizza-oven specifications and accessories. |
Family names are a starting point, not the full fuel specification
Ooni’s current US oven navigation groups Koda as gas-powered, Karu as multi-fuel, and Volt as electric indoor. A family label does not tell you which fuels are included, whether a burner is optional, or which regional power specification applies to a particular generation.

| Current family grouping | What it signals | What still needs a model-level check |
|---|---|---|
| Koda | Ooni groups these as gas-powered ovens. | Model size, gas source options, generation, and selected configuration. |
| Karu | Ooni groups these as multi-fuel ovens. | Which solid fuels are supported by that model and whether gas needs a specific burner. |
| Volt | Ooni groups these as electric indoor ovens. | Regional voltage, plug, included parts, and product generation. |
| First and newer generations | Ooni may show more than one generation in the same catalog. | Keep generation attached to model identity; do not combine specifications across revisions. |
Pizza size and oven dimensions describe different things
Ooni product specifications may combine cooking capacity with several physical measurements. Preserve each manufacturer label, unit, and measurement basis so an advertised pizza diameter is not mistaken for the stone size or the outside dimensions of the oven.

| Specification | Keep as its own field | Basis to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Pizza capacity | Advertised maximum pizza diameter. | Product page wording and model generation. |
| Cooking surface | Stone width/depth, cooking area, or stone thickness. | Stone/surface measurement, separate from pizza diameter. |
| Opening and interior | Opening height or internal height when stated. | Named opening or interior dimension, not the outer oven height. |
| Oven dimensions | Unboxed body dimensions and boxed shipping dimensions. | Boxed versus unboxed, order of dimensions, and inches/mm. |
| Weight and materials | Unboxed or boxed weight and listed construction materials. | Measurement basis and lb/kg; preserve material per component. |
| Heat and electrical specs | Temperature range or maximum, voltage, wattage, and plug type when shown. | Model, regional storefront, and °F/°C or electrical unit. |
Accessory compatibility is an explicit model relationship
Ooni product pages can publish compatibility tables for tools and named ovens. Record the exact accessory size and oven model/generation that Ooni lists; a shared category or similar-looking dimension is not evidence that an accessory fits.

| Relationship | Example of source evidence | Fields to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| Pizza peel to oven | The Ooni Pizza Peel page lists peel sizes against individual oven models. | Accessory size, oven model/generation, compatible or excluded state, and source URL. |
| Gas burner to oven | Ooni’s burner page names supported Karu models and cautions against unlisted combinations. | Burner model, oven model/generation, fuel type, stated limitations, and manual. |
| Cover or stone to oven | A product-specific fit statement or manual may name the supported oven. | Accessory variant, exact oven family/model, region if relevant, and supporting page. |
| Support document | Ooni’s Help Center groups manuals, dimensions, and product troubleshooting. | Model, generation, document URL/version, and review date. |
A bundle, a product option, and an oven are separate records
The same model page can offer the oven on its own, color or fuel choices, and named bundles. Keep each choice and its included items explicit rather than treating a bundle as a price change to an otherwise identical oven.
Scroll to compare →
| Listing element | Record relationship | Common modeling error |
|---|---|---|
| Base oven | Parent model and generation. | Combining predecessor and current-generation specifications. |
| Color or selected gas source | Variant/configuration attached to the base model. | Treating a selected option as a separate oven family. |
| Fuel attachment | Optional accessory or included item, as the page states. | Assuming a multi-fuel label means every fuel attachment is in the box. |
| Named bundle | A kit or offer linked to the oven and its exact component list. | Duplicating the oven as a new model with no bundle relationship. |
| What's included | Source-stated contents for the selected product or bundle. | Filling in accessories from a different bundle or product generation. |
| Warranty/support | Product and region-specific support or warranty reference. | Treating a registration condition or warranty term as a hardware variant. |
Treat US price and availability as dated observations
Ooni prices and product availability can change, and an option may differ by color, gas configuration, generation, or bundle. A useful history preserves the selected item and US market alongside the value and observation time; it does not turn a sale banner into a permanent product fact.

| Offer field | Capture with | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed price | Currency, US storefront, selected variant/configuration, and observed_at. | A price without market and option can refer to a different offer. |
| Compare-at or discount | The exact offer label and date displayed. | Promotions can expire or exclude selected categories. |
| Stock or product state | The exact shown state and product URL. | Sold out, preorder, discontinued, and unknown are different states. |
| Generation | Model-generation label and the observation date. | A replacement model can coexist with an earlier generation. |
| Offer identity | Product, variant, bundle contents, and canonical URL. | A bundle price should not be joined to the oven-alone record. |
Robots rules and content-use terms answer different questions
Ooni’s robots.txt currently allows the public storefront root for crawlers and lists its sitemap URL, while disallowing private transaction and selected filter surfaces. The same file points agents to Ooni’s own discovery paths for catalog, cart, and checkout. Ooni’s separate website terms reserve rights to site material and require a licence for commercial use; crawler rules do not grant that licence.

| Evidence source | What Ooni publishes | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| robots.txt | Crawler allow/disallow rules for public HTML and private or filtered paths. | A technical crawl instruction, not a content licence. |
| Sitemap location | The robots file lists https://ooni.com/sitemap.xml. | The URL is published; confirm sitemap contents separately before asserting route membership. |
| Agent discovery pointers | The file points to agent instructions, UCP discovery, and an endpoint for catalog/cart/checkout agent interaction. | Follow Ooni’s current documentation; the pointers do not establish a general catalog export or an integration claim. |
| Website terms | Ooni reserves intellectual-property rights and says commercial use of website material requires a licence. | Attribute the terms and link them; do not make a legal conclusion. |
| Privacy statement | Ooni describes personal, purchase, account, and connected-oven data. | Keep personal or app-linked records out of public product-catalog datasets. |
Connected-oven activity is not public product information
Ooni’s Privacy Statement says pairing an oven with the Ooni app can involve personal data such as cook-session ratings, dates and times, notes, pictures, and location. Those records describe customer or device activity, not the publicly listed oven model or its specifications.

| Data group | Examples | Catalog boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Public product fields | Model, generation, dimensions, fuel, included parts, and official compatibility. | Use only source-published product information with its page and observation date. |
| Account and purchase data | Account identifiers, order, billing, delivery, or purchase history. | Exclude from an informational product catalog. |
| Connected-oven data | App-linked cook sessions, notes, images, timestamps, ratings, or location. | Treat as personal/device data under Ooni’s Privacy Statement, not catalog content. |
