Blackstone griddle guide: model, cooking area and accessory data
Compare Blackstone griddle series by cooking area, burner zones, model manuals, accessory fit and warranty using official sources.
A griddle size label does not fix the cooking area
Blackstone groups units by nominal size and collection. These current examples show why a 28-inch label alone does not identify one cooking area, burner layout or configuration. Specifications below are tied to their named product page or line.

| Blackstone product or line | Published cooking surface | Burners or heat zones and identifying details |
|---|---|---|
| Select 28 | 618 sq in | Three independently controlled burners; 28-inch Omnivore plate; automatic electric ignition. |
| Select 36 | 768 sq in | Four independently controlled burners; 36-inch Omnivore plate; battery-powered electronic ignition. |
| 28-inch product page | 28¾ × 18 in; 517 sq in | Page title is 28-inch Griddle; copy and imagery identify the Original 28-inch configuration, with two independently controlled heat zones. |
Match the unit model number to its manual
Blackstone's manual index groups documents by equipment type and nominal size, with several model numbers in some groups. Use the model printed on the unit or its packaging to identify the relevant manual; do not join a product page to a manual using only its size label.

| Manual-index group | Model numbers listed | What the index establishes |
|---|---|---|
| 28-inch Griddle Cooking Station | 1517, 1605, 1856, 1858 | Several distinct unit models appear in one nominal-size group. |
| 36-inch Griddle Cooking Station | 1554, 1565, 1818, 1820, 1825, 1836, 1841, 1863, 1866, 1899 | Size does not identify one model or equipment configuration. |
| Separate equipment groups | Tabletop griddle, side-burner stovetop/fryer, air-fryer combo, rangetop combo, griddle/grill combo | Keep the equipment type, model, manual and included bundle components separate. |
Separate the cooktop surface from the unit footprint
The current 28-inch product page shows cooking-surface measurements and assembled-unit measurements as different fields. Its visible title does not provide a model number, so this is a page-level example rather than a claimed match to one of the manual-index models.

| Field | Current 28-inch page | How to store it |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed product title | 28-inch Griddle | The page's copy and imagery refer to the Original 28-inch griddle and Omnivore plate; it does not visibly state the unit model number. |
| Cooking surface | 28¾ × 18 in; 517 sq in | The page identifies two independently controlled heat zones; keep surface area separate from the frame. |
| Overall measurements | 47¼ × 33½ × 23½ in | Assembled-unit footprint, not the cooktop dimensions. |
| Other listed features | Omnivore plate, electric push-button ignition, rear grease management, side shelf, tool hooks and two fixed casters | Retain the exact product-page wording and unit association. |
Accessory fit needs exact model evidence
The current griddle collection separates cover navigation into 36-inch, 28-inch-XL, 22-inch and 17-inch categories, plus carry bags. In particular, the 28-inch-XL label is not evidence that a cover fits every 28-inch griddle.

| Accessory record | Evidence to retain | Compatibility decision |
|---|---|---|
| Cover or carry bag | Accessory name, its listed size/category and named compatible models when provided | Do not join only by the griddle's nominal inch size or assume 28-inch-XL means all 28-inch units. |
| Replacement part | Part number, explicitly supported model list and matching manual | Leave fit unknown when the manufacturer does not publish the model match. |
| Bundle | Bundle-level identity and every included griddle/accessory | Keep the bundle separate from standalone equipment and avoid partial-bundle assumptions. |
Keep warranty, returns and cancellation separate
The manufacturer's warranty, direct-site return policy and order-cancellation process have different triggers and eligibility. Confirm the exact model, purchase source and current policy before relying on any one record.

| Policy record | Current posted detail | Scope to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| U.S. manufacturer warranty | North Atlantic Imports LLC states one year from purchase for parts, finish and workmanship. | Limited to the original purchaser and normal domestic use under the manufacturer's instructions; original purchase receipt establishes the date. The page excludes accessories or parts not supplied with the unit and says the full warranty is not valid for unlicensed third-party reseller purchases. |
| Direct-site/Customer Service return | Unused products in original packaging may be returned within 30 days of the original purchase; invoice or packing slip is requested. | Customer pays return shipping and must obtain RMA instructions. The policy says refunds are processed within 10 business days after receipt/processing; website bundles must be returned as complete units. |
| Cancellation | Orders cannot be modified after placement; support asks customers to contact it immediately and says it will attempt to stop shipment. | This is an attempt before fulfillment, not a guaranteed cancellation. If the order is fulfilled before support is contacted, the posted policy directs the customer to returns. |
Robots, UCP and Terms describe different signals
Blackstone's robots.txt comments describe public product, collection, page, blog, policy and localized HTML as crawlable. The file has separate path rules for account, cart, checkout, order and internal AJAX routes, and directs shopping agents to UCP/MCP for catalog, cart and checkout with buyer approval required before payment. The posted UCP manifest identifies version 2026-08-25 and advertises catalog search and lookup capabilities. Review content reuse separately from crawler directives and the manifest; each source addresses a different question.

| Posted source | What its current text says | Boundary for this guide |
|---|---|---|
| robots.txt checked October 3, 2026 | The comments describe public HTML as crawlable; path directives separately list account/cart/checkout/order and AJAX exclusions, and the agent comments direct shopping flow to UCP/MCP with buyer approval before payment. | Keep the comment and path rules distinct; do not describe crawlability as a reuse license or permission. |
| UCP discovery manifest | The public manifest is version 2026-08-25 and lists a shopping MCP service plus catalog search and lookup capabilities. | This is a source-published machine-readable shopping interface, not a general catalog export. |
| Terms §§2 and 12 checked October 3, 2026 | Section 2 restricts reproducing, copying, selling, reselling or exploiting Service/access without express written permission; Section 12 lists personal-information collection/tracking and spidering, crawling or scraping among prohibited uses. | Attribute the wording to the posted Terms without legal interpretation; do not infer permission from robots or UCP. |
