LuLu Hypermarket product data by market and category
Map LuLu Hypermarket product data by market, category, pack, price and delivery. Separate fresh-food units, grocery packs, electronics and local availability.
Six market storefronts need separate locale records
LuLu's regional website publishes English and Arabic storefront paths for the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain. The robots file names twelve locale sitemaps. Treat the country and language in a product URL as part of its identity: the UAE terms and delivery wording reviewed here do not define every market's prices, assortment or service rules.

| Dimension | What the public source shows | Record it separately |
|---|---|---|
| Market | AE, QA, SA, OM, KW and BH locale families | Country code, storefront host/path and review date. |
| Language | English and Arabic locale prefixes for each market | Locale prefix and source language; do not merge pages only because the product name matches. |
| Market-specific evidence | The detailed terms review in this guide is for the UAE English storefront | Terms URL and policy jurisdiction; do not transfer UAE wording to another locale. |
| Discovery file | Robots lists twelve locale sitemap URLs | Record the declaration found in robots; individual sitemap responses were not verified in this review. |
Categories, facets and products are different records
The UAE category page groups the shop into Grocery, Fresh Food, Electronics, and Home & Living. The product list adds Product Type and Brand facets, shipment type and shipping-attribute controls, Offers, and sorting. A filter or sort choice describes the current list state; it is not automatically a product attribute or a stable category count.

| Surface | Examples visible on the UAE site | Useful catalog treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Top-level category | Grocery; Fresh Food; Electronics; Home & Living | Keep the source category path with the product record. |
| Category facet | Product Type, Brand, shipment type, shipping attribute | Store selected filters as query/list context, separate from item identity. |
| Offer and sort controls | Offers; relevance, price, new arrivals and discount sorting | Capture observed offer or sort state only when relevant, with URL and time. |
| Dynamic listing | Products and category totals change with the storefront and selection | Do not publish sampled counts as durable catalog coverage. |
Fresh-food identity includes origin and a precise unit
A sampled UAE produce detail page separates a product title, VAT-labeled price, origin, highlights, specifications and description. Its title includes origin and stated weight, and its URL carries a conversion parameter. Those are distinct fields: retain the visible unit and raw parameter, and do not guess the conversion logic or copy a live product description.

| Observed field | Store it as | Avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Product title and category | Source title, page identifier, and Fresh Food category path | Splitting title text into assumed brand/SKU values when the page does not expose them. |
| Origin and unit | Country of origin, weight or piece unit, and the exact displayed wording | Comparing a per-piece item with a per-kilogram item as if the units matched. |
| Conversion parameter | Raw query parameter such as convtobuom, plus the source URL | Assigning an internal meaning to the parameter without documentation. |
| Detail sections | Highlights, Specifications, Product Description and VAT label as separate source fields | Treating promotional prose as a verified nutrition or technical specification. |
Packaged grocery needs an exact pack basis
For packaged grocery, preserve the source's product name and the whole package expression before normalizing quantity. LuLu lists pantry goods alongside fresh food, so a pack count, total net weight and selling unit should not collapse into one number.
Scroll to compare →
| Field group | What to retain | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product identity | Source item ID or URL, product type, brand when shown, and full title | Brand and product type are facets; the selected product remains a separate record. |
| Package | Count, net quantity, unit, and complete multipack wording | A multi-unit pack is not equivalent to one item with the same total weight. |
| Selected option | Chosen size, flavor, color, or pack option only when the page exposes a selection | Keep an option-level offer attached to its selected package. |
| Seller attribution | Seller or supplier only when the public item identifies one | Do not infer a third-party seller from a category or fulfillment label. |
Electronics and home appliances need category-specific specifications
LuLu's Electronics and Home & Living areas include mobile and wearable products, kitchen appliances and home appliances. A shared product schema can hold common identity, but technical attributes should remain category-specific and use the exact labels and units shown on each item page.

| Record layer | Fields to preserve when displayed | Source-specific caution |
|---|---|---|
| Model identity | Brand, exact model name/number, item identifier, and selected variant | A product family or category label is not an exact model match. |
| Technical detail | Specification label, value, unit, and the page section where it appears | Do not invent universal fields or copy a specification from a related model. |
| Manufacturer attribution | Whether a description is attributed to a manufacturer, agent, LuLu, or seller | UAE Terms §13.1 says product write-ups are based on manufacturer/agent catalog or technical literature and may change. |
| Offer and service context | Market, chosen option, visible availability, delivery method and observation time | Keep offer or fulfillment state separate from model specifications. |
Online price, VAT, offer and availability change independently
The UAE terms distinguish the online price from a store price, state that delivery charges depend on the chosen method, and say advertised products are subject to availability. Model each observation with the country storefront, selected pack or option, exact price/VAT wording, and capture time rather than treating one visible value as universal.

| Observed state | Fields to keep together | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Online price | Amount, currency, market, selected option, source URL and time | The UAE Terms §13.2 says online and store prices may differ. |
| VAT display | Exact inclusive/exclusive label and the market page | Do not infer tax display for another locale from the UAE detail page. |
| Promotion | Current amount, previous/list amount when shown, badge text and time | A displayed promotion can change; avoid using it as an evergreen price claim. |
| Availability | Exact status, market, destination or store context, selected option and time | Terms §14.1 says products are subject to availability or while stocks last. |
| Delivery charge | Amount and selected delivery method when visible | Terms §13.5 says the delivery charge depends on the chosen method and is added at checkout. |
Delivery labels are local fulfillment states, not promises
The UAE product list exposes shipment-type and shipping-attribute controls, including a UAE shipment label. The UAE Terms say delivery method can depend on product size and that some products are delivered directly by a supplier. Keep the displayed label, destination and checked time instead of turning a facet into a service guarantee.

| Fulfillment detail | Capture | Limit the claim to |
|---|---|---|
| Shipment label | Exact source label, such as Quick, and the market/page where it appeared | A visible facet value does not prove it applies to every item or address. |
| Delivery method | Method selected or offered for the item and destination | The amount and method may be selected at checkout. |
| Supplier delivery | Supplier-delivered state only when stated on the item/order information | UAE Terms §16.3 says some products are delivered by suppliers, with method depending on item size. |
| Timing | Quoted window, source section, destination class and review date | UAE Terms §16.4 describes an effort to deliver within 48 working hours; remote/semi-remote supplier orders may take up to five working days. Neither is a guarantee or a rule for other markets. |
Robots directives and content-use terms answer different questions
A useful LuLu catalog record keeps market/language, source URL and product identifiers, category-specific attributes, exact unit/pack, selected offer and VAT labels, availability/fulfillment context, observation time, and the reviewed permission scope. The robots file is a crawl directive; it does not grant commercial reuse rights. The current UAE Terms page has no displayed last-updated date, so this summary is tied to the review date below.

| Published boundary | Observed wording or directive | How to use it in a data workflow |
|---|---|---|
| Named crawler groups | On 2026-10-02 UTC, BadBot, Bytespider, meta-externalagent, CCBot, AhrefsBot, SemrushBot, DotBot, MJ12bot, PetalBot, Sogou and BLEXBot each have Disallow: /. | The reviewed file has no explicit groups for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, Claude, Perplexity or Google-Extended; absence is not affirmative permission. |
| General crawler group | User-agent: * excludes account, cart, checkout, search, promotion and API paths plus several filter/tracking query patterns | Do not treat robots as a contract or a substitute for source permission. |
| Locale sitemaps | Robots lists twelve English/Arabic sitemap URLs across AE, QA, SA, OM, KW and BH | These are declarations in robots; each sitemap response was not verified in this review. |
| Site-content use | UAE Terms §4.1 permits on-screen display, local disk storage (not network-connected storage) or one printed copy for personal, non-commercial use; other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires written permission. | Keep this site-content boundary distinct from technical crawl directives. |
| Trademark licence | UAE Terms §4.2 grants no licence to use LuLu or luluhypermarket.com trademarks. | Keep brand names attributed to the source and do not imply affiliation. |
| User data and technical controls | UAE Terms §5.1's prohibited-use list includes collecting user information without consent and circumventing technical measures | Exclude personal/account data and do not bypass technical controls; this page makes no legal determination. |
