Carrefour product data: Drive prices and Marketplace sellers

Compare Carrefour prices by service, location and seller. See which Drive, delivery and Marketplace details belong with each timestamped product record.

A Carrefour price belongs to one service, location and seller

Carrefour.fr brings together several online grocery services and a Marketplace with third-party sellers. The selected seller can depend on the delivery or collection location, and price or availability can vary by service and area. Keep those dimensions with every observation: the number alone is not a reusable market fact.

Observation typeContext to recordWhy the context matters
Drive grocery listingSelected Drive or store, service, visible seller, item and observation time.Drive assortment and promotions can differ from a physical store and from another Drive.
Home or Express deliverySelected service and delivery area; store or seller identity when shown; page or app and timestamp.A different delivery area or service may select a different seller, assortment or price.
Marketplace product offerPartner seller, product listing, offer conditions and seller-delivery details when shown. The product is offered by an independent Marketplace seller; do not merge it with grocery listings or another seller's offer.
Nearby physical storeBranch, product/package, displayed price and observation date.An in-store observation is its own channel and should not stand in for a selected online offer.

Build comparable Carrefour grocery price records

Start with a product match, then preserve pack size, selling unit and offer context. Carrefour's terms say online prices depend on delivery or collection location and service; prices may also differ between the website and app. For produce or other variable-weight goods, keep the displayed unit price separate from an estimated package amount.

Product identityTitle, brand, EAN/GTIN or Carrefour reference if shown, product URL.Match the exact item and variant; a shared product name alone may not establish identical pack or formulation.
Pack and unitNet quantity, package count, selling unit, displayed unit price and basis (for example, per kilogram).Compare equivalent sizes or normalize to a shared unit; retain the source's own denominator.
OfferPrice and currency, promotion or loyalty condition, and visible validity language.Keep an offer price distinct from a regular price and preserve eligibility conditions.
Selection contextDrive, delivery, Express or other service; selected area/store and seller; web/app if known.Do not compare different location, service or seller contexts as if they described one offer.
TimeObservation timestamp and source URL.Prices and availability can change; dates let analysts separate observations from current offers.

Keep each Carrefour Marketplace seller offer separate

On Carrefour's consumer-facing Marketplace page, “Vendu et Livré par” marks a product sold by a partner. Carrefour describes itself as an intermediary for that third-party sale, while the seller handles delivery. Marketplace terms define an offer with fields such as price, promotional price when applicable, a product sheet, stock quantity and new condition. Those are terms-defined offer attributes; a field may not appear on every live listing.

Product identityListing title, brand, model or variant, and page attributes that are actually displayed. Two sellers' listings are the same offer or contain the same product details.
Price and promotionOffer price, promotional price and stated conditions, with currency and capture time.A promotion applies to every seller, location or customer.
Availability and fulfillmentStock/availability and delivery details only when visibly presented for that seller. An availability label is a guaranteed unit count, delivery promise or checkout result.
Offer stateSeller, selected listing, terms and observation date as one record.A Marketplace offer is the same as Carrefour Drive or a Carrefour-group grocery offer.

Normalize price without losing package meaning

A simple unit conversion can help compare package sizes, but it does not make two products or offers equivalent. Keep the original pack, service, location, seller, offer conditions and time beside any normalized value. For variable-weight goods, use the stated price-per-unit and do not treat an estimated pack total as a fixed checkout price.

Normalize the packageFictional arithmetic: €1.80 for 750 g is €2.40/kg.This is unit-conversion arithmetic only, not a Carrefour item, observed price or quote.
Match product identityCompare the same item and variant, or state why two substitutes are being compared.Title, brand, source reference if shown, and package quantity.
Align market contextCompare like service, selected area/store, seller and web/app channel where known.A location or channel difference can explain a price or assortment difference.
Preserve offer termsSeparate regular price, promotion and loyalty conditions; retain the unit-price denominator. The conditions and observation timestamp used to calculate the normalized amount.

Carrefour seller integrations and product-data APIs

Carrefour's Marketplace seller recruitment form offers connection choices such as API/connector, CSV/Excel and integrator. These options describe how a seller may onboard or manage its own catalog. That form does not document a general public API for querying consumer product listings; it does not establish whether other separately documented interfaces exist. Keep seller-system integrations distinct from customer-facing product pages and seller offers.

Check Carrefour's dated terms before collecting or reusing data

Carrefour publishes separate terms for the main site and its Marketplace. The site CGU currently shown is dated 6 March 2020 and says database extraction or reuse, in whole or in part, requires Carrefour France's prior express authorization. Marketplace terms separately restrict substantial database extraction/reuse and reproduction, extraction or reuse of Marketplace content such as photos and descriptions without prior express authorization. Confirm the current terms and applicable permission for the intended use.
