Grailed listing data: designer, size and resale offers
Grailed listing fields for designer resale: seller-stated size and condition, offers and asking prices, listing removal, authentication and access rules.
One Grailed listing represents one seller-listed item.
Grailed is a marketplace where users list, buy and sell clothing and accessories directly with each other. A listing describes one seller-listed item; it is not necessarily a standardized catalog product with a universal SKU. Treat the exact listing URL as its record key, and keep the seller’s words and the platform’s labels distinct.

| Record element | Useful fields when displayed | Keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| Listing identity | Exact listing URL, title, displayed listing ID if present, category and observation date | Do not create an assumed product code or merge separate sellers’ listings into one SKU. |
| Item description | Designer or brand, department, size label, condition label, color and material | A size tag, condition label and seller description are different kinds of evidence. |
| Seller-provided details | Measurements or fit notes written in the listing | Preserve the displayed wording and units; do not present it as a standardized size chart. |
| Visible marketplace state | Displayed asking price, currency, shipping details, purchase or offer option | These are observations of a listing state, not proof of a completed transaction or current availability later. |
Keep seller-written garment details separate from platform labels.
Grailed says sellers are responsible for listing accuracy. A useful description can combine source labels with details typed by an individual seller, so preserve where each value came from. Seller measurements can help distinguish two listings with the same size tag, but they are not a common measurement standard across sellers.

| Displayed value | How to interpret it | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Designer and category | The brand or designer association and the marketplace category shown on that listing | Keep the source spelling and category; do not infer a verified brand relationship from a title alone. |
| Size and department | The listing’s selected size and any displayed department or gender | Keep original labels and units; size systems may differ by brand, country and garment. |
| Condition | A platform option, seller-selected value or seller-written description, depending on what is shown | Do not convert free text into a universal used-condition grade. |
| Measurements and materials | Optional seller-entered measurements, fabric or construction notes | Label these as seller-provided and retain units; missing measurements are unknown, not zero. |
| Seller and badge context | Public shop label and exact platform badge wording when visible | Do not copy private account details or treat a badge as proof that every listing was authenticated. |
Grails, Hype, Sartorial and Core are discovery labels.
Grailed’s Help Center describes four style sections that help shoppers discover different parts of its fashion marketplace. They are not a substitute for the item’s designer, product category, size or condition, and their meanings should remain Grailed-specific.

| Grailed section | Grailed’s description in its Help Center | Keep distinct from |
|---|---|---|
| Grails | Coveted, hard-to-find pieces; the guide notes that what counts as a grail is personal. | A verified rarity score or a standardized product type. |
| Hype | New streetwear and recent drops. | A general category for every popular or high-priced item. |
| Sartorial | Classic, high-end menswear and womenswear. | A designer name, garment category or formalwear condition. |
| Core | Well-known mass-market brands and vintage. | A condition grade or a universal definition of vintage. |
An asking price, an offer and a completed sale are different events.
Grailed’s Terms describe both immediate purchase at the listed price and negotiated offers. A seller can accept, counter or decline an offer. Prices and availability may change, and the Terms say Grailed does not guarantee that a listing appears in a particular search or browse result. A discount shown on a listing is not evidence of the price paid in a sale.

| Price or event | What it means | How to record it |
|---|---|---|
| Asking price | The price currently displayed by the seller for the listing | Store the currency, observation time and any visible shipping amount alongside it. |
| Displayed discount | A current reduced price or comparison price when the listing shows one | Keep both labels as displayed; do not interpret a former or crossed-out price as a transaction. |
| Offer | A buyer-submitted amount that may be accepted, countered or declined | An offer is not a sale until the transaction is confirmed. |
| Completed sale | A transaction confirmed through Grailed’s seller notifications and account Sold page | The public listing price alone does not disclose a completed sale price or public sales history. |
A listing can be sold, deleted, removed or simply unavailable.
Grailed’s help article says a seller can confirm a sale through a Grailed notification or email and see it on the account Sold page. Another help article says a listing may be deleted one year after it was created, after which it can disappear from search and the seller’s profile. Grailed’s Terms also reserve the ability to remove listings. A missing public URL does not tell a reader which event occurred.

| Observed state | What official guidance supports | What remains unknown from a missing URL |
|---|---|---|
| Visible listing | The page can be observed at the time checked; sellers may change listing details and prices. | Whether its price, stock or description will remain the same. |
| Confirmed sale | Grailed describes confirmation through seller notifications and the account Sold page. | The seller’s account history and the completed transaction price are not established by the former public ask. |
| Age-based deletion | Listings may be deleted after one year and, if deleted, no longer appear in search or on the seller profile; they generally cannot be restored. | Deletion is not evidence of a sale. |
| Removed or unavailable | Grailed may delete listings, and pages or search results may change. | Whether the item sold, was deleted, was moderated, or is temporarily inaccessible. |
Check access and authentication statements against their source.
The Grailed Terms of Service show an effective date of September 3, 2026. Section 12 prohibits automated means—including scrapers and AI or machine-learning systems—from accessing, indexing, collecting or extracting service content, and it prohibits ignoring robots.txt. Grailed’s robots file was retrieved September 24, 2026; its listed exclusions include search, sold, account, messaging, checkout and selected API routes. The public materials reviewed do not document a listing API or feed. These are source-policy and documentation boundaries, not permission inferred from a page being visible.

| Topic | Source-specific detail | How to describe it accurately |
|---|---|---|
| Automated access | Terms §12 prohibits automated collection and says not to bypass or ignore robots.txt. | Attribute the restriction to Grailed’s Terms; do not turn the guide into access instructions. |
| Robots rules | The Sep 24, 2026 snapshot disallows paths including `/search`, `/sold`, `/users/*`, `/messages`, `/conversations`, `/checkout/` and selected `/api/*` routes. | Robots directives describe crawler paths; the Terms separately govern use. |
| Listing API or feed | No public listing API or feed is documented in the official materials reviewed. | Keep this scoped to the materials reviewed; do not claim private or partner access is impossible. |
| Digital verification | Grailed’s Terms say not all products are digitally verified; the seller Help Center says only qualifying listings go through the review process. | Preserve any exact badge text and do not generalize authentication to all listings. |
