Wyze device data: models, storage and service features
Compare Wyze devices by model, local storage, service-plan features, hub dependencies and product variants.
Keep the device model, listing option and accessory distinct
The Wyze Cam v4 U.S. listing presents color and pack choices and a separately sold outdoor power adapter. Wyze's support specification names the hardware model WYZEC4 and lists White and Grey, while the current shop listing also presents Black. Keep the chosen listing option separate from the model's support specification and retain the source context for each.

| Catalog record | Wyze example | Relationship |
|---|---|---|
| Device model | Wyze Cam v4; support sheet identifies WYZEC4 | The model code identifies hardware; it does not identify a subscription or service entitlement. |
| Color option | The current shop listing presents White, Grey and Black; the support sheet names White and Grey | Retain the displayed selection and the source page/version rather than assuming both pages expose identical option sets. |
| Pack quantity | The product listing offers 1, 2 and 3 packs | Keep the pack selection with the offer; the per-camera price and pack total are different values. |
| Accessory | An outdoor power adapter is sold separately for outdoor use | Represent the adapter as a compatible add-on, not part of every camera's included hardware. |
Keep camera specifications tied to the exact hardware model
Wyze's Cam v4 shop and support pages publish camera-specific image, audio, connectivity and environmental claims. The support page identifies WYZEC4; these values describe that model, not every Wyze camera or doorbell.

| Specification group | Cam v4 example | Source context |
|---|---|---|
| Image and lens | 2.5K QHD at 2560 × 1440; diagonal field of view 115.8°, horizontal 98.5° and vertical 53.1° | Keep the resolution and each field-of-view axis with the model and support-page date. |
| Night, audio and alerts | Color night vision, two-way audio, 99 dB siren and spotlight are listed for the device | Hardware presence is separate from event-recognition and cloud features supplied by a service plan. |
| Network and power | 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a 6-foot micro-USB cable are specified | Preserve supported bands, radio version and power setup as separate fields. |
| Weather and installation | The spec page lists IP65 and an operating range of −4°F to 122°F; outdoor use calls for the separately sold power adapter | The rating applies to the camera housing; the listing's accessory note explains its outdoor power configuration. |
Separate microSD recording from Cam Plus cloud features
Wyze's Cam Plus help page, updated 30 January 2026, separates features available to every user from subscription features. Local card recording, cloud image storage, event video and AI detection are distinct service or device dimensions, not one generic camera capability.

| Capability scope | Current Wyze support description | Record boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Available to every user | Motion and sound alerts, alarm-sound detection, image-only cloud storage, live stream, timelapse and 24/7 local recording with a microSD card | Local recording requires the card; image-only cloud storage is not an event-video archive. |
| Cam Plus | Smart person, pet, vehicle, package and sound detections; AI event video; 14-day rollover video storage; and Wyze Web View | Attach service entitlement and plan name to the camera/account scope; do not treat these as hardware-only fields. |
| Plan eligibility | Wyze says Cam Plus is available on Wyze Cam devices except Wyze Cam v1 | Eligibility is model-specific; do not project one device's supported plan onto every camera generation. |
| Local-storage exceptions | Wyze's support table lists Video Doorbell v1 and Video Doorbell Pro without microSD storage; Floodlight v1 requires a separate Wyze Cam for local storage | Record the exact doorbell or floodlight model and the support table's exception, not a family-wide storage flag. |
| Owner event history | Wyze Events help describes event videos and filters inside the Wyze app | Event clips and per-camera history are account-side records, not public product-listing attributes; scope them as buyer-owned or otherwise authorized data. |
Model sensor hubs and legacy bridges as compatibility links
Wyze's current Home Monitoring collection says its sensors require a Sense Hub. The older Wyze Sense v1 bridge is a separate generation with a narrower camera compatibility list; pairing and automation links belong between device records rather than inside a sensor's standalone specifications.

| Device relationship | Wyze's stated compatibility | Catalog treatment |
|---|---|---|
| Current Home Monitoring sensors | The current collection says sensors require a Wyze Sense Hub | Represent the Hub as a required companion device; a sensor listing is not a complete setup by itself. |
| Legacy Sense v1 Bridge | Wyze lists Cam v1, Cam v2 and Cam Pan v1 as compatible bridge hosts and says Sense v1 is not compatible with other Wyze devices | Keep the bridge, sensor generation and compatible host models together; do not apply this list to current Sense products. |
| App automation | Wyze's collection describes sensor state changes triggering other Wyze devices through app rules | Store a trigger/action relation separately from a device's model-level hardware specification. |

Wyze's U.S. Terms of Service, effective 29 August 2025, prohibit data-gathering methods designed to scrape or extract from Wyze Products or Services and separately address third-party applications that interact with them.
