Wayfair furniture data: options, dimensions, delivery
Compare Wayfair furniture options by visible Option SKU, dimensions, materials, set contents, condition, and U.S. delivery context. Verify current terms before reuse.
A Wayfair product family can contain multiple furniture options
A category listing can show an option and its Option SKU alongside the product title and brand. Preserve the label as displayed, then keep the selected option with the full source URL and storefront. Do not assume that a URL value, public Option SKU, or supplier-side identifier is interchangeable.

| Record | Fields to preserve | Matching rule |
|---|---|---|
| Public page | Full product URL, title, brand, category, visible Option SKU label | Retain each source label; do not derive a separate ID from URL digits. |
| Selected option | Option text, size, finish, orientation, color, set count | Treat each selectable configuration as a distinct comparison candidate. |
| Supplier context | Parent SKU only when present in an authorized supplier record | Do not map a supplier-side Parent SKU to a public Option SKU without documented evidence. |
| Observation | U.S. storefront, selected option, capture date and source URL | Keep market and time attached to every displayed value. |
Match furniture by dimensions and included pieces
Furniture titles can describe a family rather than one exact configuration. Dimensions, units, finish, upholstery or other material, orientation, set count, included pieces, and assembly text help distinguish close-looking options. Keep the retailer wording beside any normalized field.

| Furniture detail | Fields to record | Comparison check |
|---|---|---|
| Dimensions | Overall and component measurements with the source unit | Convert only after retaining the original values and unit. |
| Set contents | Piece count and included components, such as chairs or cushions | Compare the same included parts before treating two sets as equivalent. |
| Finish and material | Finish, frame material, fabric or upholstery as labeled | Similar color names do not prove the same material or finish. |
| Configuration | Size, orientation, color and selected option text | A left-facing and right-facing configuration remain separate options. |
| Assembly and features | Assembly requirement and included feature text | Preserve source wording; do not turn a description into a verified performance claim. |
Compare Wayfair offers after matching the selected option
A displayed amount belongs to the selected option and market at a particular time. Public category listings can use different price labels, including regular and open-box states. Preserve the label and condition instead of manufacturing a discount or combining separate offers.

| Offer field | Context to retain | Comparison decision |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed price | Selected Option SKU, option text, currency, storefront and time | Compare only matching options in the same market. |
| Reference or regular price | Exact source label and amount when shown | Do not calculate a discount unless both values and the relationship are explicit. |
| Open-box offer | Open-box label, selected condition, option and amount | Keep condition separate from a new item offer. |
| Availability | Option, market, destination context and capture time | A page state is not a reserved item or a guaranteed fulfillment outcome. |
Keep the delivery estimate separate from cart shipping
Wayfair's U.S. help says product pages show an estimated delivery date, while shipping cost and conditions appear in the cart with item-specific exceptions. The cart price is the checkout price before tax. Record delivery as a time-bound estimate and keep shipping charges and tax outside the product amount.

| Delivery field | Useful context | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Estimated arrival | Selected option, postal area, displayed date and observation time | An estimate is not a guaranteed delivery date. |
| Shipping charge | Cart amount, unit or item basis, condition and exception text | Do not infer the charge from a category card or another postal area. |
| Checkout amount | Item price and shipping before tax, with capture context | Tax is separate; the total can depend on the transaction context. |
| Market | U.S. storefront and destination within its service area | Other Wayfair markets use separate storefronts; do not merge their prices or delivery context. |
Use category and search pages for discovery, then verify product details
A category or search observation describes an assortment at a particular query, filter state, position, market, and time. It is a discovery record; use the selected product option and dimensions to decide whether two furniture items match.

| Page context | Fields to retain | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Category | Taxonomy path, filters, visible position, product URL and time | The observed assortment and ordering for that category state. |
| Search | Query, filters, displayed sponsored label if any, position and time | The result set for that query context, not a global rank. |
| Product option | Option SKU label, selected attributes, dimensions and product URL | The chosen configuration and its displayed details. |
| Reviews or questions | Separate source text only when in scope and authorized | Opinion content is not a product specification. |
Keep public buyer pages separate from supplier operations and access rules
Wayfair's supplier agreement describes Partner Home and product information supplied through that relationship; it does not establish that public buyer pages expose supplier operations or a general catalog API. Record robots directives as dated observations; they do not establish terms permission or blanket access.

| Evidence source | What this review found | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Public buyer page | Visible product and selected-option fields, prices and delivery context | A page does not reveal a supplier's full catalog or an authorized API grant. |
| Supplier agreement | Partner Home and product information supplied within a supplier relationship | Do not apply supplier terms or identifiers to public buyer pages without evidence. |
| robots.txt | The October 7, 2026 file lists category allows and disallows for filters, account, checkout and other routes; some wildcard directives overlap | A robots directive is not a grant of rights, and overlapping paths were not treated as blanket permission. |
