Vinted listing data: item IDs, condition and offers
Model Vinted.com listings by item ID, condition, offers, bundles and shipping. Separate public asks from private orders and review current crawler signals.
Keep Vinted item IDs tied to individual member listings
Vinted item pages represent individual member listings, not one standardized catalog offer. Keep the numeric item ID in the URL and full source URL as the listing key. The same brand or garment model can appear in separate posts with different size, wear, photos, price, seller description and listing state. Link likely matches without merging their independent offers.

| Identity layer | Keep | Do not collapse |
|---|---|---|
| Listing ID | Numeric item ID from the URL and the full source URL. | A universal catalog ID shared by every post of the same model. |
| Item identity | Brand field, title, item category, model or style details and color. | A confident match based only on a loose title or brand name. |
| Seller-provided detail | Description, measurements, alterations, missing parts and stated flaws. | Narrative claims as independently verified measurements or condition. |
| Photos | Image set and the listing/time each image belongs to, when permitted to retain it. | Permission to republish images or source text just because they are publicly viewable. |
| Listing state | Visible price, option fields and observation time. | A current available item, completed purchase or historical sale without separate evidence. |
Separate condition labels from seller evidence and optional verification
Vinted asks sellers to select an accurate condition and show or describe flaws. Its brand field should identify the manufacturer, not the retailer; branded-item photo guidance calls for category-specific evidence such as labels, tags, serials or receipts. Preserve the platform label, seller text and image evidence separately. None alone guarantees authenticity.

| Evidence | How to preserve it | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Condition label | Exact displayed label and locale. | Labels and available categories can differ by market and listing type. |
| Brand and category | Selected brand field, category, title and any model/size designation. | Vinted says brand should identify the manufacturer, not the retailer; similar brand names can be confused. |
| Description | Seller-stated material, measurements, alterations, missing parts and flaw notes. | Seller-entered text is not an independent inspection. |
| Photos and proof | Where the source shows them, record category-relevant detail photos such as labels, tags, barcodes, serials or proof of purchase. | A photo or seller-provided document is evidence, not a platform-independent authenticity certificate; do not republish images without permission. |
| Seller identity | Use a pseudonymous, minimized reference only if needed for listing deduplication. | Avoid collecting or exposing usernames, precise locations, private messages or account data as product attributes. |
Distinguish asks, offers, item sets, bundles and Buy now orders
Vinted's help pages distinguish a seller's item-set listing (one listing, up to five items) from a buyer-created bundle of separate listings from one seller (up to 100 items). Buyers can also make an offer and use Buy now. Keep these structures and their price events separate: checkout adds the displayed Vinted/Buyer Protection fee and shipping, and may show a verification-service cost.

| Stage | Useful record | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Listing ask | Item ID, displayed item amount, currency and observation time. | An ask is not a sold price. |
| Offer | Offer amount, related listing or bundle IDs, timestamp and response only when available in an authorized account record. | A proposal or counteroffer is not an accepted price or public transaction. |
| Seller item set | One listing ID and its included item count/details; the listing has one set price. | Do not split one set into separate listing IDs unless Vinted publishes separate listings. |
| Buyer-created bundle | Component listing IDs, each item-level ask, bundle discount/offer and order-level shipping context. | A multi-listing bundle is separate from a single item-set listing; do not replace item values with one bundle total. |
| Buy now checkout | Accepted item/bundle price, exact displayed fee label and amount, selected shipping, optional verification charge and checkout total. | Address, phone, payment instrument and checkout record are private buyer data. |
| Completed transaction | Authorized order status and completion time when available to the account owner. | A listing disappearing or changing is not proof of a completed sale. |
Keep shipping selection and package constraints with the item and market
Vinted's U.S. Help Centre says a listing flow suggests a package size and shows carriers with their weight or size limits. Buyers choose an available delivery option at checkout; shipping rates depend on package size and buyer/seller locations, while sellers manage offered carrier options in their account. Once the buyer checks out, package size and carrier cannot be changed.

| Shipping field | Capture | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Package size | Suggested or selected package size, carrier-specific limits and the source market. | Exact packed dimensions if the seller has not measured the parcel. |
| Carrier / option | Available or selected carrier, market and seller-enabled shipping option. | The same carrier will be available to every buyer or category. |
| Shipping amount | Displayed checkout amount, currency and order context. | A universal shipping fee independent of route or package. |
| Order shipment | Tracking and order shipment state only from the authorized transaction record. | A listing or suggested package size is not proof of shipment; exclude buyer address, phone, label and tracking identifiers from public listing fields. |
| Bundle parcels | Bundle component listings and order-level shipping choice. | Each item having a separate independent shipment in a same-seller bundle. |
Read Vinted.com robots rules by user-agent
For Vinted.com, reviewed 8 October 2026, robots.txt assigns separate signals to wildcard and named agents. The rows distinguish those directives from the file's prose and its account-behavior restrictions.
Scroll to compare →
| Current robots detail | What Vinted.com publishes | Reading boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Wildcard group | search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no. | The file defines ai-input as retrieval grounding but its prose bars embedding and model-training uses; these statements do not fully align. |
| Named AI user-agents | GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, Amazonbot and CCBot are disallowed at /; their signal is search=yes, ai-input=no, ai-train=no. | Keep the path disallow with its separate signals; search=yes does not cancel the / rule. |
| Prose and actions | The file describes public-page crawling for search/discovery; it bars training, fine-tuning, dataset creation, embedding and automated account or transaction behavior. | Do not treat discovery signals as permission for account, cart, purchase, checkout or payment actions. |
