Era, silhouette and occasion are separate browse axes
Unique Vintage navigation offers different ways to narrow retro apparel: historical era, garment silhouette, occasion and featured brand or collection.

| Browse dimension | Official examples | What it describes |
|---|---|---|
| Era | 1920s, 1930s & 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and Y2K. | The historical style grouping displayed in the storefront menu. |
| Silhouette or dress style | Swing, Pencil, Fit & Flare, Maxi, Midi, Wrap and Caftan. | The cut or dress-style path is independent of the era label. |
| Occasion and featured shop | Office, Cocktail Hour, Wedding Guest; Unique Vintage Brand and partner labels such as Smak Parlour. | Use case and product brand describe separate browse choices. |
A size label needs its product and brand chart
Product pages expose selectable sizes and brand-linked size charts. The Unique Vintage chart explicitly identifies its bust, waist and hip ranges as body measurements, not garment measurements; the chart does not state a physical-measurement unit.

| Product chart | Example XS row shown on the page | Size context |
|---|---|---|
| Unique Vintage Marceline Swing Dress, item #148517 | XS maps to numeric size 0–2; body chart lists bust 32–33, waist 25–26 and hips 35–37 (unit not stated in this chart). | The embedded chart's footnote says these are body measurements rather than garment measurements. |
| Retrolicious American Flag Cotton Flare Dress, item #314420 | The page's XS chart lists bust 30–32, waist 24–26 and hips 32–34 (unit not stated in this chart). | The same XS label has different displayed ranges across these product charts, so the brand and product chart remain part of size context. |
| Size selector and range copy | The Marceline listing's descriptive size range differs from its size selector: copy says XS–5X while the retrieved selector showed XS–XL. | A descriptive size-range statement is not a live stock count. |
Stretch, closure and outfit pieces shape the garment record
Material composition alone does not describe how these dresses differ. Product pages also identify stretch, lining, closure, pockets, size-specific length and whether a styling accessory is included or sold separately.
