StockX marketplace data: bids, asks and sale history

Compare StockX by marketplace, product size, condition, Ask or Offer, sale history and buyer-location pricing models. Review the current API license boundary.

StockX's marketplaces describe different supply and transaction records.

Choose the StockX lane before comparing an amount or condition. A Verified Marketplace Ask describes a product-size market; a Listings page can describe one seller's item; a Live bid belongs to a timed auction.

StockX's marketplaces describe different supply and transaction records.
MarketplaceWhat the record representsScope to preserve
Verified MarketplaceNew, unworn catalog products; items are verified by StockX or shipped directly by a StockX Verified Seller.Keep exact product and size. Availability, supported currencies and fees depend on buyer/seller location.
Listings MarketplaceUsed or unique seller items with a seller-selected condition and item photos/description.Currently available to U.S. buyers and selected U.S. sellers. Optional StockX verification is limited to eligible listings and is selected at checkout.
StockX LiveA real-time auction during a live show; current item evidence includes what the seller presents and describes.Currently available in the StockX iOS app in the United States. The winning bid is a transaction event; Live orders are not currently eligible for StockX verification.
Fees and deliveryBuyer fees, shipping, taxes, duties and any selected Listing verification can affect the final amount.Retain the buyer location, checkout model and the amounts shown at checkout; do not infer a universal total from the listing price.

Keep StockX product identity, size and condition joined.

A model or product family is not enough to match StockX observations. Preserve the source product page, selected size and the marketplace-specific condition evidence with every observation.

Record fieldWhat to retainWhy it matters
Product identityExact StockX product URL, displayed product name and any source product identifier.Colorways, releases and editions can share similar names but represent different products.
Size or variantSelected size exactly as shown, sizing label, and the product page's chart context.StockX sneaker pages use U.S. sizing; GS, PS, TD, Infant, WIDE and Asia Sizing labels have distinct meanings.
Marketplace laneVerified, Listings or Live, with listing/auction URL and observation or event time.A catalog market, one used item and an auction are not interchangeable records.
Condition evidenceFor Listings/Live, seller-selected condition and visible photos, description or live-show evidence; for Verified, the applicable new-item context.Condition standards and verification differ by marketplace; do not infer that every used item was verified.
Seller/item identityIndividual listing identity and seller context when the lane describes a single item.A used or unique seller item is not interchangeable with another listing for the same model.

An Ask, an Offer, a sale and the buyer's total are separate signals.

On the Verified Marketplace, Buy Now uses the lowest available seller Ask and Sell Now matches the highest active buyer Offer. A matched sale and View All Sales are separate transaction evidence; buyer-location tax and duty treatment can also change the displayed Ask basis.

An Ask, an Offer, a sale and the buyer's total are separate signals.
Price signal or modelStockX meaningHow to compare it
Lowest AskThe lowest available seller amount for the selected product and size; Buy Now purchases at that Ask.Keep size, buyer location, currency, pricing model and observation time.
OfferA buyer's proposed price. Sell Now can match the highest active Offer.Keep as an active bid/offer signal, not a completed transaction.
Matched saleA transaction after an Ask and Offer match, or another completed purchase event.Record the sale amount and transaction time separately from current Ask/Offer snapshots.
View All SalesStockX's sale-history display does not use the same calculation as the regional Ask shown to a buyer.Do not compare the amount as if both values include the same regional duties and taxes.
All-in AskApplicable duties and taxes are included in the Ask shown; the invoice shows an itemized breakdown. This is one buyer-location model; preserve the model shown for that region.
All-in HybridApplicable duties and international fees are included in the Ask; taxes are collected separately at checkout.StockX currently lists the United States and Canada under this model; retain both buyer and seller location context.
Delivery at Place (DAP)Taxes and duties are collected by the carrier at delivery rather than in StockX's Ask.Use the current location-specific model; do not compare the Ask alone with a tax-inclusive total.
Other buyer feesBuyer fees and optional eligible Listing verification fees are displayed at checkout.Record actual displayed fees separately from the Ask and the sale amount.

StockX API data is governed by a separate, limited license.

The current agreement grants a revocable internal-use license at StockX's discretion, requires published API methods and restricts archiving or reselling StockX Data. StockX price, size and API questions

Are a StockX Ask, Offer and sale price the same thing?

No. On the Verified Marketplace, an Ask is the seller's price, an Offer is a buyer's proposed price, and a sale is a matched transaction. StockX says Buy Now uses the lowest available Ask and Sell Now matches the highest active Offer. Keep these signals and their timestamps separate.

Why can a StockX sale appear above the current Ask?

The buyer's Ask and sale-history display can use different regional price bases. StockX documents All-in Ask, where duties and taxes are included in the Ask; All-in Hybrid, where duties and international fees are included but tax is collected at checkout; and DAP, where the carrier collects duties and taxes at delivery. View All Sales does not use the same calculation as the regional Ask, so keep the buyer location and price model with each observation.

Does StockX sell used items?

The Verified Marketplace is for new, unworn products. The separate Listings Marketplace covers seller-listed used or unique items, and StockX Live can include new or used items shown during a live sale. Condition rules and verification differ by marketplace.

Does StockX provide an API for product data?

StockX has a Developer Portal and a separate API license agreement. The agreement says access may be granted at StockX's discretion, licensed materials are for internal use, applications must use published API methods, and StockX Data may not be archived or resold. Review the current agreement before designing an integration.
