Shokz product data: models, fit and playback modes
Compare Shokz product data by sound technology, fit, swimming playback mode, water rating, battery conditions and seller channel.
Separate sound technology from open-ear form
“Open-ear” describes a wearing style, not one audio technology. Shokz's sports headsets, earhook earbuds and swimming model expose different sound paths and playback modes.

| Product example | Source-reported design | Keep distinct |
|---|---|---|
| OpenRun Pro 2 | Bone-conduction sports headset with DualPitch; IP55 | A sports water-resistance rating does not make it the swimming model. |
| OpenFit 2 | Air-conduction DirectPitch earbuds with a charging case; IP55 applies to earbuds | Open-ear earbuds are not bone-conduction headsets; keep case protection separate. |
| OpenSwim Pro | Bone-conduction headset with Bluetooth and 32 GB MP3 storage; IP68 | Bluetooth playback is for land use; underwater playback uses local MP3 mode. |
Attach fit and included hardware to the exact model
A family name alone does not identify the selected headset, fit or charging setup. Preserve option selections and included components as separate fields.

| Field group | Preserve | Comparison boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Model identity | Family, model/generation label, model number when exposed, canonical product URL and retailer option ID | A URL option ID or color edition is not a replacement for the model number or generation. |
| Fit and finish | Selected Standard/Mini size, color, edition and the source's size-guide reference | OpenRun Pro 2 offers Standard and Mini; OpenSwim Pro is listed in one size. Do not infer fit from color or model family. |
| Included hardware | Headset or earbuds, charging case, cable/connector and included accessories | OpenRun Pro 2 uses USB-C; OpenSwim Pro uses its model-specific magnetic cable. OpenFit 2's case is a separate item with its own protection rating. |
| Sibling model | OpenFit 2 versus 2+, including the selected model, case feature and published audio option | The series page attributes wireless charging and Dolby Audio to OpenFit 2+; do not copy those fields to OpenFit 2. |
Compare battery and water specifications in context
Shokz reports different playback figures by product and mode. Store the tested mode, case basis and water-use note beside each value rather than ranking unmatched numbers.

| Specification | Capture with the value | Example boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Listening time | Model, playback mode, single charge versus case total, quick-charge condition and source date | OpenSwim Pro lists up to 9 hours in Bluetooth mode and 6 hours in MP3 mode; OpenFit 2 lists single-charge and case-total figures separately. |
| Water resistance | Exact product or component, published IP rating, stated use and source | OpenRun Pro 2 is rated IP55; OpenSwim Pro is rated IP68 for the swim model. Do not treat the ratings as interchangeable use claims. |
| Connectivity and storage | Bluetooth version/multipoint, local storage capacity, codec or transfer method when documented | OpenSwim Pro's Bluetooth signal does not work underwater; its local MP3 files support the underwater playback mode. |
| Case and charging | Case included, case charging method, headset connector and model-specific cable | A case's charge capacity or resistance is not the same field as the headset's single-charge time or water rating. |
Keep each offer tied to its market and seller
Color, size and storefront promotion can change the observed offer. Record the purchase channel so a Shokz.com offer or return condition is not assigned to a third-party retailer.

| Observation | Record | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Offer and availability | Locale, seller/channel, currency, selected model/color/size, displayed price basis, availability label and observation time | A promotion or sold-out state belongs to the observed option and channel; an omitted value is unknown, not a claim that the model is unavailable everywhere. |
| Return or warranty context | Policy source/date, purchase channel, product class and market | Shokz's U.S. service policy distinguishes official-site returns from other-retailer purchases and describes separate warranty conditions; keep those source-reported terms with the channel. |
