RUSS store data: music formats, variants and order limits
Map RUSS music and apparel records by product URL, media format, artwork edition, variant, purchase limit, market, checkout shipping and source policy.
Keep media format and edition at the product grain
The current RUSS store separates physical music formats, a digital album and apparel. Its Shop All page shows alternate-art music editions on separate product URLs. Keep a public product URL or handle as the page key, and retain the edition and format separately; an album title alone can merge distinct pages, while a digital product does not carry the same shipping or package fields as physical media.

| Record type | Useful source-reported fields | Keep distinct from |
|---|---|---|
| Physical music | Public product URL/handle; media format; edition/artwork identifier; selected option if present; observed availability | Another edition page or a digital deliverable with no parcel package. |
| Digital music | Public product URL/handle; digital product type; source-described delivery method if stated | Physical quantity, parcel dimensions, shipping charge or warehouse stock. |
| Apparel | Public product URL/handle; garment type; size options; linked size-chart reference when present | Album/media edition fields or unshown measurement values. |
| Collection entry | Collection URL; linked product URL; observation date | A distinct SKU/variant unless the product page actually exposes one. |
Separate product facts from selectable variants
An option is only a variant when the product page exposes it as a selectable choice. The reviewed physical music page describes color and unsigned status as item details; the apparel page exposes a size selector and size-chart link. Keep those cases distinct so static copy does not become a fictional variant list and an apparel size is not confused with another edition page.

| Page evidence | Record it as | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Music page describes media format, color and signed state | Source-reported product attributes, with the product URL and page date | A selectable signed/unsigned or color option when the page does not show one. |
| Apparel page presents a size selector | The exact size option and its availability, if displayed; size-chart link/version where available | Unseen size values, garment measurements, or fit claims. |
| Alternate art appears at a different product URL | A separate edition/product-page record linked to its own public URL | A variant of a sibling page just because the media format matches. |
| Page says an item is available for a limited time | The source label and observation date, if this volatile offer field is needed | An end date or future release schedule not stated on the page. |
Keep a per-customer limit separate from stock
The reviewed RUSS music page states a per-customer limit of four items across vinyl, CDs and cassettes. That is a purchase constraint for the stated product family, not a count of remaining units. Track a published cap, selected-option availability and inventory as different fields with the exact page and observation time.

| Field | Source context to keep | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Purchase cap | Quantity; covered item types; per-customer scope; source product URL; observation time | A checkout quantity rule, not current inventory or a limit for every store category. |
| Availability | Product or selected-option label; market context; observation time | A time-sensitive page state, not a promise that all quantities can be purchased. |
| Price and currency | Displayed amount; currency selector/market; selected variant if any; observation date | A market-specific offer observation; no current price is asserted here. |
| Campaign label | Source label, product URL and observation date | A time-limited phrase without a displayed end date does not supply an expiration date. |
Separate market display, shipping and return terms
The storefront has a country/currency selector, but a listed market or currency does not establish delivery eligibility. Product pages calculate shipping at checkout; the shipping policy says the checkout address is used and directs readers to the individual product page for preorder timing. The refund policy states a general final-sale position, addresses defective/damaged/wrong items, and separately describes an EU-shipped merchandise period. Keep each policy statement tied to its page and review date rather than flattening it into one global return flag.

| Record grain | Fields to retain | Why it stays separate |
|---|---|---|
| Market display | Selected country/market; displayed currency; selected variant; page date | Currency selection alone does not show that an item ships to that destination. |
| Checkout delivery | Destination context; shipping amount as calculated at checkout; checkout date | Shipping is destination/order-specific and distinct from displayed product price. |
| Preorder timing | Product URL; source-stated timing; page version/date | The shipping policy points to the item description for current preorder timing; do not infer dates from collection labels. |
| Return or issue terms | Policy page/version date; destination scope; page-level final-sale label; stated defect/wrong-item process | The published refund page includes an EU-shipped-merchandise section; a generic final-sale flag loses that stated market distinction. |
