Pela Case catalog: device compatibility and materials
A guide to Pela Case at pelacase.com: phone and AirPods fit, accessory options, attributed material claims and the store's posted access limits.
Pela Case's catalog spans cases and everyday accessories
The official Pela Case storefront at pelacase.com groups phone cases for Apple, Google Pixel and Samsung devices alongside AirPod cases, phone accessories and everyday items. Its phone selector organizes compatibility by device and model. The posted Terms identify Pelacase Corporation and affiliates as operator; Pela's About page describes Open Mind Developments as its parent company. This guide describes the catalog's published structure, not a product feed.

| Catalog dimension | What the official site presents | How to keep the distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Storefront identity | Pela Case at pelacase.com | Keep the brand name and source domain tied to the page being described. |
| Operator and parent | Terms name Pelacase Corporation and affiliates; the About page names Open Mind Developments as parent | Attribute each company role to its own first-party page. |
| Product families | Phone cases, AirPod cases, phone accessories, Apple Watch bands and everyday items | Keep source-reported family and product type separate from fit and design. |
| Catalog structure | Separate collections and model selectors organize different device families | Do not reduce the catalog to one device generation or one accessory category. |
Device compatibility should attach to the exact model
Pela's official selector separates phone makers, series and models, while AirPod cases and Apple Watch bands have their own product families. Compatibility belongs to the specific case, band or accessory and the device relationship stated by its official page; a shared design name does not establish a fit.

| Fit relationship | Keep together | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Phone case | Device maker, series, exact model or generation, case type and the supporting product page | That a case for a similar phone name or another series will fit. |
| AirPod case | AirPod family/generation and the exact case listing that names it | That one case fits every AirPod or AirPod Pro generation. |
| Apple Watch band | The band product and any watch model or case-size selector shown by Pela | Universal fit across all watch models or sizes. |
| Phone accessory | Accessory type and any declared attachment or compatible case/device | That a grip, strap, card holder, screen protector or MagSafe item is a phone-case variant. |
Design options are different from device fit
Collections and artist/design themes describe merchandising; device selectors describe fit. A color, personalization control, collection label or accessory attachment is a different catalog dimension from the product family and compatible model. Preserve only distinctions the exact official page makes.

| Catalog field | Source-specific meaning | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Product family and type | The kind of item, such as a phone case or a separate accessory | Do not derive device fit from a category or collection name. |
| Collection or design | A source-assigned theme, artist series or collection relationship | Treat the label as merchandising attribution, not as a model or material claim. |
| Color and option | A selectable product option where the page identifies one | Do not assume every color is offered for every device or item. |
| Variant and attachment | A selected configuration or a separate product-to-device attachment relationship | Keep variants under their item and accessories as related items, not as interchangeable records. |
Flaxstic claims vary by material and source page
Pela's Flaxstic explainer describes a blend of flax straw or shive, plant-based biopolymers, and recycled materials. Its comparison page separately says signature Flaxstic is 45% plant-based and that the back panel of a Clear case is 100% plant-based. The FAQ says up to 10% flax shive is added to the base material and that proportions vary by product; it also states that the base material meets ASTM D6400-04 and EN 13432 for industrial composting. These are attributed first-party claims, not independently verified composition or performance data. Keep each percentage, material, component, source page, and processing condition in its own scope; the figures are not interchangeable and no single formula or end-of-life outcome applies to every Pela item.

| Pela's statement | Attach it to | Claim boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Flaxstic composition | The explainer describes flax straw or shive, plant-based biopolymers, and recycled materials | Do not assume this describes every Pela product or every component. |
| Material percentages | The comparison page says signature Flaxstic is 45% plant-based; the FAQ says up to 10% flax shive is added and proportions vary by product | Keep the two measures separate; do not combine them or supply an unstated percentage basis. |
| Clear-case panel | The comparison page's 100% plant-based statement applies to the Clear case's back panel | Do not extend a panel claim to the entire case or its accessories. |
| Composting standard | The FAQ says the base material meets ASTM D6400-04 and EN 13432 for industrial composting | Keep the claim attached to the stated base material and industrial facility; do not label it an independent certification. |
| Evidence and review | Record the exact official page and this review date (6 October 2026) | Pela's statements are not independent composition tests or end-of-life guarantees. |
Personalization options are separate from customer input
Pela's personalization page describes choosing a case and color, then adding a customer's own text or image and adjusting design controls. A catalog description can name a documented option at a high level, but customer-created content is not a product attribute to reproduce. This page contains no current price, promotion, stock or availability observations.

| Information type | Treatment in a catalog reference | Excluded from this page |
|---|---|---|
| Product option | Describe the existence of a selectable option only where an official page documents it | No current option values or example customized designs. |
| Customer-created content | Keep distinct from the product's reusable option labels | Personal text, uploaded images, instructions or other buyer submissions. |
| Price and offer | Recognize as a market- and time-specific commerce state | No live price, discount, promotion or offer record. |
| Customer or device information | Not part of a public product catalog guide | Identity, contact, payment, order, account, session or connected-device data. |
Pela's posted terms set a clear access boundary
Pela's Terms say users may not conduct, facilitate, authorize or permit text/data mining or web scraping in relation to its Digital Media or Services. The page explicitly includes automated methods to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish material and automated text/data analysis. This is a summary of Pela's posted terms, not legal advice or a claim about enforceability; this reference provides no collection instructions or access permission.

| First-party evidence | What the reviewed page says | Limit of this reference |
|---|---|---|
| Terms and automated analysis | The Terms expressly prohibit text/data mining and web scraping, including named automated tools and processes, subject to a stated applicable-law qualification | Public visibility does not establish permission; no collection workflow is described. |
| Terms date labels | The page heading says “Last Updated on Jun 16, 2023”; a later paragraph says updated August 15, 2022 | The page itself shows conflicting dates, so this reference does not assign a resolved effective date. |
| Privacy date labels | The Privacy Policy says “Effective: June 19, 2023” and later says last updated May 30, 2023 | Retain both page labels rather than guessing which one controls. |
| Robots evidence | A direct robots.txt inspection was unavailable in this review | No crawler allow/deny directive or permission is inferred from that limitation. |
