OLAPLEX product catalog: formulas, sizes & sets
A field guide to OLAPLEX product numbers, ingredient-list fields, size variants, sets, and the posted limits on site reuse.
A product number is not a complete product identity.
OLAPLEX's direct catalog uses numbered families alongside full product descriptors. The current wash collection distinguishes names such as Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo, Nº.4Fine Volumizing Shampoo, Nº.4C Clarifying Shampoo, and Nº.4Curl Bond Shaper Shampoo. Preserve the complete source name, line descriptor, product type, and product page; matching on the number alone can combine distinct products.

| Identity field | Record as shown | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Source identity | Product URL and any product/model identifier explicitly shown | A variant selector or number in the product name is not automatically a stable universal ID |
| Full product name | Number/marking, line descriptor, type, and current displayed name | That Nº.4, Nº.4Fine, Nº.4C, and Nº.4Curl are the same formulation |
| Product vs variant | Base item separated from selected size or package option | That a different size or set is a different formula without source evidence |
| Name history | Source-stated former name or relationship, if the page explicitly supplies one | A historical product and current item are identical because their numbers resemble each other |
Keep the ingredient list separate from product claims.
A product page can present a named technology or benefit statement and a separate full ingredient list. Capture those as different evidence types. OLAPLEX states that ingredients may change and directs customers to the package for the most current list, so an online list is a dated page observation rather than a guarantee about every item received.

| Information | Useful fields | Evidence rule |
|---|---|---|
| Ingredient list | Exact displayed INCI text and order, product page, selected package size, market, and review date | Do not reorder, abbreviate, or treat a site list as current package labeling |
| Formula/version | Version or former name only when OLAPLEX explicitly provides it | Leave it unknown when no version is stated; do not invent a formula timeline |
| Brand description | Separate attributed technology, feature, and benefit text | Do not turn a marketing statement into an independently verified result or medical claim |
| Label context | Package or product variant to which the list applies | Do not assume every size, market, or production date has the same list |
Store each package size as its own explicit variant.
Size choices are product-specific. On the pages checked October 5, 2026, Nº.3PLUS Complete Repair Treatment listed 100 ml and 250 ml; Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Strengthening Shampoo listed 100, 250, 525, and 1,000 ml. These examples do not define the size range for other OLAPLEX products.

| Official page example | Size choices shown | How to retain the distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Nº.3PLUS Complete Repair Treatment | 100 ml; 250 ml | Preserve the source's size label, numeric volume, unit, and selected variant identifier when present |
| Nº.4 Bond Maintenance Strengthening Shampoo | 100 ml; 250 ml; 525 ml; 1,000 ml | Keep package size separate from the product name and from any bundle containing the item |
| Other product pages | Use only the sizes actually shown for that item | Do not copy a size range across formulas or infer price-per-ml without matching market, currency, and time |
| Offer context in an authorized record | Displayed amount, currency, selected size, market, and observation time if supplied | Do not publish current prices here or compare unlike packages/markets as if they were equivalent |
Represent sets and routines as different relationships.
OLAPLEX collections merchandise standalone products, named sets, and paired routines. The Total Hair Repair Set page checked October 5, 2026 explicitly lists Nº.3PLUS treatment (100 ml), Nº.4 shampoo (250 ml), and Nº.5 conditioner (250 ml). Capture those as the stated set components. The Treatments collection separately describes Nº.0 and Nº.3PLUS as a two-step system; that relationship is not itself a set with those stated contents.

| Relationship shown | Record | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Named set/value set | Set's own displayed name/ID and each component and size only when explicitly listed | Do not infer contents from the set title or its collection category |
| Routine/two-step pairing | The products linked and OLAPLEX's exact relationship label | A routine link is not evidence that items are sold together or that results are guaranteed |
| Shop the Look/cross-sell | A separate recommendation edge between product records | A recommendation does not establish formula equivalence or package inclusion |
Keep hair goals and product filters as source labels.
OLAPLEX collections expose facets such as product type, hair goal, texture, hair type, ingredient category, and size. These are useful merchandising fields when retained with the product and source page. They are OLAPLEX's catalog labels, not a diagnosis, independent performance rating, or personalized hair-care recommendation.

| Source facet | Preserve | Use carefully |
|---|---|---|
| Hair type/texture | Exact label and product association, such as Fine or Medium-Coarse when shown | Do not infer an individual's hair profile or suitability |
| Hair goal | The label OLAPLEX assigns, such as Strength & Elasticity or Shine & Sheen | Do not convert a merchandising filter into a clinical or guaranteed outcome |
| Ingredient/product type | Displayed facet and the page where it appears | Do not assume every product in a goal/category has identical ingredients or claims |
| Sort/collection context | Collection path and selected filter/sort context when analyzing a result set | A collection or bestseller label is not a stable product attribute |
