Mysa thermostat models, compatibility and product fields
Compare Mysa thermostat models by heating system, control method, voltage, load, version and documented fit, with source dates and product-specific exceptions.
Choose the Mysa family from the system it controls
Mysa makes smart thermostats for several heating and cooling systems, but the models use different control methods. Start with the equipment and interface: line-voltage heater, low-voltage central HVAC, or an infrared remote.

| Mysa family | System and control method | Compatibility boundary to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| For Baseboards (V2 or LITE; other generations documented separately) | Electric baseboards and convectors; some model-specific heater types; line-voltage wiring | The Baseboard product listing specifies 120–240 V and model-dependent load requirements. Keep heater type, exact generation and listed wattage together. |
| For In-Floor Heating (IF V1) | Electric radiant mats or cables; a direct line-voltage thermostat with a floor sensor | This family is for electric floor zones. Mysa lists hydronic floor heating as incompatible; do not merge it with a low-voltage boiler thermostat. |
| Smart Thermostat / Central HVAC | Standard 24 V AC control wiring for central furnaces, heat pumps and other documented HVAC systems | This is a low-voltage HVAC control, not a direct switch for a 120/240 V baseboard or electric floor zone. |
| For Mini-Splits | Infrared commands to compatible ductless heads, window AC or portable AC | Remote protocol and command-state support determine fit; a listed equipment category or brand alone does not guarantee compatibility. |
Keep baseboard generations and feature evidence separate
Mysa support material names Baseboard 3 (V3), V2, LITE and legacy V1. The V2/LITE comparison is not a complete substitute for a generation-specific hardware or product listing.

| Published model label | Source-documented distinction | How to represent the evidence |
|---|---|---|
| V2 | The comparison article lists zones, saved schedules, energy charting, smart alerts, Early On, humidity sensing and touch controls as V2 features. | Store V2 as its own generation and attach features to the exact comparison page and its September 11, 2026 review date. |
| LITE | The comparison describes physical buttons and a temperature-offset feature in app version 4.19 or later. Its smart-home claims conflict with a separate product-family guide. | Preserve the source and date for each integration claim. The September 11, 2026 Baseboard V2/LITE comparison lists Apple HomeKit and Google Home; the September 15, 2026 product-family guide lists Alexa but not HomeKit or Google Home for LITE. |
| Baseboard 3 / V3 | A hardware guide updated October 1, 2026 documents V3 controls separately from V2 and LITE. | Treat V3 as a distinct source label. The hardware guide alone does not establish current retail availability or feature parity. |
| V1 | Mysa's hardware guide marks V1 as legacy and gives it a separate control/pairing history. | Retain the legacy label; do not fold historical records into V2 or infer that old and current parts interchange. |
In-floor fit depends on an electric zone, phase and rated load
Mysa identifies IF V1 for electric heating mats and cables, with one thermostat per compatible zone. The published electrical values are product limits for comparison, not wiring instructions; have a qualified electrician confirm a real installation.

| Field | Mysa IF V1 documentation | Comparison note |
|---|---|---|
| Heating element | Electric radiant floor mat or cable | Hydronic (hot-water) floor loops are listed as incompatible. |
| Voltage and phase | Single-phase 120 V, 208 V or 240 V; 60 Hz | Three-phase 208 V and 24 V systems are listed as incompatible. |
| Maximum load | 1,900 W at 120 V; 3,328 W at 208 V single-phase; 3,800 W at 240 V | Keep each rating paired with voltage and phase; do not collapse the limits into a single wattage value. |
| Floor sensor | Includes a 10 kΩ sensor rated at 25°C with a 15 ft (3 m) lead; the specification article lists compatible 5–40 kΩ third-party sensors | Record included sensor and accepted resistance range separately from the heating mat/cable. |
| Zone and installation constraints | One compatible electric floor zone per thermostat; Mysa lists copper wiring and no pre-existing GFCI protection among its conditions | Do not combine an in-floor zone with a wall/baseboard heater on one thermostat. Confirm current requirements with Mysa and a qualified electrician. |
Mini-split compatibility follows the infrared remote, not just the brand
Mysa for Mini-Splits acts as an infrared controller for supported ductless indoor units and some window or portable ACs. The original remote's protocol and state display are more useful compatibility fields than a brand name by itself.
Scroll to compare →
| Compatibility field | What Mysa's help material says | What remains unit-specific |
|---|---|---|
| Equipment type | Ductless mini-split heat pumps, window air conditioners and portable AC units can be candidates | The equipment category does not confirm an individual model or remote code set. |
| Control protocol | Mysa sends infrared commands and learns codes from the original remote | Wired-only, RF and Bluetooth-only remotes are listed as incompatible. |
| Remote state | Mysa's pre-purchase guide looks for a full-state infrared (IR) remote display showing target temperature, operating mode and fan speed | Button-only or temperature-only remote displays may not provide the full state Mysa needs. |
| Signal path | The Mysa unit needs an unobstructed infrared path to the indoor receiver | A listed brand is not enough if placement or the receiver blocks IR communication. |
| Supported functions | Heat, cool, dry and fan-only; fan speeds, swing and vane positions where the equipment supports them | Mysa lists freeze protection, Follow Me/remote sensing and head-unit display changes among unsupported features. |
Central-HVAC records need voltage, stages and configuration context
Mysa's Smart Thermostat is documented for standard 24 V AC HVAC. System type and staging affect the published configuration code, so a code should not be treated as a universal model feature or installation instruction.
Scroll to compare →
| System or field | Source-documented context | Record separately |
|---|---|---|
| Electrical class | 24 V AC control thermostat for central HVAC | Voltage/control class; it is not the line-voltage Baseboard or In-Floor product. |
| Supported equipment | Furnaces, heat pumps and boiler/radiant systems are listed; fan-coil/PTAC and hybrid cases have qualifications | Equipment type and full/partial status from the named compatibility guide. |
| Stages | The compatibility guide describes up to 3H/2C, with configuration depending on connected system and terminals | Heating stage, cooling stage, auxiliary heat and fan control are separate attributes. |
| Configuration code example | The June 11, 2026 code guide gives 31P and 31L for a 2H/1C heat pump with auxiliary heat, differing by reversing-valve behavior (O vs B) | Keep code, code-guide revision, equipment type and valve context together; do not infer a code from a model name alone. |
| C-wire and exclusions | Mysa says a C wire is required and describes a separate power adapter for systems without one; proprietary communicating systems are not supported | Treat adapter fit as a separate accessory/system requirement; ask the manufacturer or an HVAC professional about a real setup. |
Keep product specifications traceable to the exact source version
A useful Mysa product record distinguishes permanent model identity from source-specific compatibility statements and changing store-page details. Attach a source URL and review date to facts that can vary by model generation or help article.

| Data group | Useful attributes for comparison | Evidence boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Product identity | Product-family label, model/generation, SKU when stated, source page and review date | Keep V1, V2, V3, LITE, IF V1, central Smart Thermostat and Mini-Splits labels distinct. |
| System compatibility | Heating/cooling type, control method, voltage/phase, load or stages, sensor and model-specific exclusions | Store a supported/partial/not-supported relation with the exact evidence; do not turn “most” or a brand list into universal compatibility. |
| Features and integrations | Named controls, app features, supported modes and smart-home integrations | Preserve differences and conflicts between Mysa pages with their own dates; the LITE integration claims are not uniform. |
| Terms and changing details | Mysa's Terms and Conditions page is dated June 3, 2025; §2 limits Site use to personal and non-commercial purposes and §4(6) prohibits programs/scripts for scraping, indexing, surveying or data mining the Site | Keep this wording attached to that Terms revision. Prices, discounts and stock vary by page and market, so the comparison omits live offer values. |
