Molekule product data: Air Mini+, Air Pro and filter compatibility
Compare Molekule Air Mini+ and Air Pro product data: coverage, sensor fields and filter fit; keep app readings, filter status and regional offers tied to model and date.
Model grain separates Air Mini+, Air Pro and the older Air
Molekule’s manufacturer listings describe purifier models with different coverage, controls and sensing fields. Record the exact model before joining specifications or a replacement filter; ‘Molekule Air,’ ‘Air Mini,’ ‘Air Mini+’ and ‘Air Pro’ are not interchangeable labels. Values below are manufacturer-listed examples reviewed October 5, 2026, not independent performance tests.

| Model record | Manufacturer-listed fields | Keep distinct from |
|---|---|---|
| Air Mini+ | Coverage up to 250 sq ft at average 8-ft ceilings; PM2.5 sensing; Auto Protect Standard; five manual speeds; 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi | Air Mini, the original Molekule Air, and Air Pro |
| Air Pro | Coverage up to 1,000 sq ft at average 8-ft ceilings; PM1/PM2.5/PM10 and chemical sensing; CO2 and relative-humidity readings; Standard and Quiet Auto Protect; six manual speeds | The Mini+ sensor set and room-coverage claim |
| Included purifier filter | The product pages list one PECO-HEPA Tri-Power filter in the box for Air Mini+ and Air Pro | A separately purchased replacement filter or a recurring filter plan |
| Model identity | Preserve the exact product label, generation, SKU or listing identifier when shown, and selected configuration | A family name inferred from similar casing or a shared technology label |
| Room coverage | Keep the stated square footage together with the listing’s average 8-ft ceiling qualifier and model | A guarantee for every room layout or a measured outcome |
A sensor reading is not a claim that the purifier removes that measurement
The Air Mini+ listing names PM2.5 sensing, while Air Pro lists a broader particle sensor plus chemical, CO2 and relative-humidity measurements. Keep a sensor’s measured value, unit, device model and timestamp separate from filtration materials and manufacturer statements about pollutants. Molekule specifically notes that Air Pro senses CO2 and relative humidity; that does not mean the purifier destroys either one.

| Signal or view | Model-specific interpretation | Data relationship |
|---|---|---|
| PM2.5 | Listed for Air Mini+; Air Pro also reports PM2.5 alongside PM1 and PM10 | Store each size fraction as a separate reading, not a single generic ‘particle’ value |
| PM1 and PM10 | Part of the Air Pro particle-sensing specification; not listed in the Air Mini+ detection field | Do not populate these fields for Mini+ from Pro-family pages |
| Chemical, CO2 and relative humidity | Listed for Air Pro; the manufacturer distinguishes sensing CO2 and humidity from destroying them | Keep the measurement separate from a removal or treatment claim |
| On-device and app data | Air Mini+ and Air Pro show particle information on the device; the app adds sensor views and remote controls when connected | Record observation source (display or app), device model, timestamp and unit |
| Purification layer | The named PECO-HEPA Tri-Power filter combines PECO, HEPA and carbon layers | Filter construction is a product attribute, not a sensor field or a guarantee about every contaminant |
Filter compatibility follows the purifier generation
Molekule sells filters by device family, and similar PECO wording does not establish that two filter products fit the same purifier. Preserve the exact model compatibility printed on the named filter listing. In particular, the original Molekule Air’s separate pre-filter belongs to a different design than the integrated filter in Air Pro and Air Mini+.

| Purifier or filter family | Source-specific compatibility detail | Matching rule |
|---|---|---|
| Air Pro PECO-HEPA Tri-Power replacement | The replacement listing names Air Pro as compatible | Join to the Air Pro model only when the selected filter listing carries that label |
| Air Mini / Mini+ PECO filter listing | The product listing names Air Mini and Air Mini+ as compatible models | Keep the Mini and Mini+ compatibility label and filter edition attached to the listing |
| Original Molekule Air pre-filter | Help content says the separate pre-filter is for the original Air and is incompatible with Air Pro and Air Mini+ | Do not assign the original Air pre-filter to later purifier models |
| PECO-HEPA Tri-Power construction | Molekule describes PECO, HEPA particle capture and a carbon layer on the named Tri-Power filter | Keep construction and manufacturer-stated capture figures on the exact filter record |
| Bundled versus replacement unit | A purifier box listing includes one named filter; a replacement product has its own SKU, price and pack quantity | Model the included component separately from the replacement product offer |
Filter status and filter orders have different time grains
Molekule Help Center material says Air Mini/Mini+ filter status is based on device runtime and can be seen on the device without app connectivity; the app can show a more specific percentage. Its six-month replacement guidance is a recommendation, not a fixed status. Keep device telemetry, a maintenance event and a refill plan as separate records.

| Record type | Fields to preserve | Why it stays separate |
|---|---|---|
| Filter-status observation | Purifier model, displayed indicator or app percentage, timestamp and connection/view source | A remaining-life reading is not a filter product or confirmed purchase |
| Replacement recommendation | Manufacturer guidance, model family, review date and usage qualification | The six-month recommendation can vary with usage and environment |
| One-time replacement filter | Filter model, compatibility, quantity per package, currency and offer observation time | A catalog item is not a subscription shipment |
| Filter auto-refill plan | Plan name, market, shipment cadence, eligible filter, enrollment state and effective date | Subscription availability and terms can differ by country and change over time |
| App or device reading | Pseudonymous device key, field name, value, unit, timestamp and model; omit household/account identifiers | Air-quality observations can reveal details about a private indoor environment |
Keep offers, region and the published Terms attached to observations
The purifier, compatible filter and refill offer are separate catalog objects; price, currency, stock and subscription cadence belong to a selected market and observation date.
