Lectric eBike specs: XP4 models & battery fit

Compare Lectric XP4 500 and 750 specifications, distinguish XP4 from XPress2, and check model-specific battery fit. Includes Lectric’s published website-use terms.

A Lectric product needs more than its URL or color name

Lectric’s product pages identify a model family and a selected build, while a page handle can preserve an older name. For example, the XP4 page currently titled “XP4 Tempest Grey eBike” uses the handle xp-black. For meaningful product comparison, keep the model, generation, motor and battery option, frame style, color, and market distinguishable.

A Lectric product needs more than its URL or color name
Identity detailWhat to distinguishWhy it matters
Model familyXP4, XPress2, XP Lite2, XP Trike2, or another named familySimilar branding does not make separate models or generations interchangeable.
ConfigurationFor XP4, 500W and 750W versions have different motor and battery specifications.Do not merge different power or battery builds into one undifferentiated model row.
Frame and optionStep-over, step-thru, color, and selected accessory options where offeredA battery or accessory may fit only a specific frame or build.
Product locatorKeep the original product URL separately from the displayed model and color name.A legacy-looking handle is not proof of the current product identity or color.

XP4 500 and XP4 750 are separate power and battery configurations

Lectric lists different nominal motor ratings, peak power, battery capacities, and estimated ranges for the XP4 500 and XP4 750. Both reviewed configuration pages state battery and eBike certifications; compare like with like and keep each value attached to its named build.

XP4 certification claimsBoth reviewed XP4 listings state UL 2271 certification for the battery and UL 2849 certification for the eBike.Attribute each mark to its component and the configuration page that states it.
RangeThe Terms describe range and top-speed figures as estimates, not guarantees.Keep range with model, configuration, and source date; rider, cargo, terrain, weather, and use affect performance.

The folding XP4 and XPress2 cruiser serve different comparison needs

Lectric groups the XP4 as a foldable utility bike and presents XPress2 as separate cruiser and commuter models. The cruiser page describes an upright riding position; the commuter is positioned for a more active ride. When comparing them, use the selected frame and the model-specific size and payload information instead of treating “750W” as a complete description.

Check battery fit by generation, motor option, and frame

Lectric’s own spare-battery listings distinguish XP generations, the XP4 500 and 750 builds, and step-over versus step-thru frames. This is a concrete example of why the shared XP name is not a compatibility rule. Confirm the exact bike and battery listing with Lectric before buying a part.

Official battery listingCompatibility stated by LectricImportant distinction
XP4 spare batteryThe cited XP4 spare listing names XP4 step-over only.Do not extend this listing to step-thru or another motor configuration.
XP4 750 long-range spareLectric lists an XP4 750 spare battery, with a separate listing for the step-thru build.Match the 750 option and frame style shown on the exact part page.
Legacy XP Long-Range BatteryThe listing names XP 2.0 step-over, XP 3.0 step-over, and XP Lite 2.0; it explicitly excludes XP4.A similar family name or voltage is not evidence of physical compatibility.
Fitment checkLectric directs customers with fit questions to its support team.Use the current official fitment information; do not infer a fit, adapter, or safe installation from a product name.

Keep published specifications separate from changing offers

A product page can combine a named eBike build with an option selector, accessories, package contents, pricing, availability, or a shipping estimate. Those are not all model specifications. Lectric notes that included items may vary and that website product information can change or contain inaccuracies; its range and speed are estimates.
