Lazada Malaysia product data: COD and card instalments

Lazada Malaysia's terms make payment choice depend on delivery region, bank and order value. Preserve the selected method and its payment-specific terms with each product offer.

COD is limited to named delivery regions

Lazada's Malaysia terms state that COD is available in Klang Valley, Penang and Johor Bahru, with a fee that may be prescribed for each order. The terms exclude COD for pre-sale items. The named regions are public policy; destination-level eligibility and the fee shown for a particular order come from that buyer’s checkout.

Card instalments have issuer and order-value conditions

The terms distinguish card instalments from ordinary card or online-banking payment. They list six-month and 12-month plans with different minimum purchase amounts, subject to eligible bank cards and checkout availability. The issuer, order value, selected plan and displayed repayment terms describe a buyer’s checkout; they are not public product fields. Do not retain payment credentials.

The chosen instalment method changes return eligibility

Lazada's terms say the 14-day return policy does not apply to credit-card instalment purchases, except where the item is damaged; change-of-mind returns are not valid for these purchases. Keep the policy outcome with the payment plan and return reason. The public terms explain the difference; a selected plan, return reason, ongoing obligation and actual replacement/refund outcome belong to the buyer’s order and payment records.
