Jumia Nigeria product data
Explore Jumia Nigeria product data: JUMIA SKU, Seller SKU, GTIN, one-axis variants, seller offers in NGN, Jumia Express and Global labels, and access rules.
Separate JUMIA SKU, Seller SKU, SID, and GTIN
Jumia seller guidance uses several identifiers for different jobs. Keep each value with its own source and scope: a platform reference, a seller’s catalog key, a Vendor Center search value, and a barcode are not interchangeable identifiers.

| Identifier | What the source documents | How to preserve it |
|---|---|---|
| JUMIA SKU | A Jumia product reference searchable in Vendor Center and shown on the public website. | Store it separately from any seller-assigned reference and retain the page URL. |
| Seller SKU | The seller’s own product reference, also supported by Vendor Center search. | Keep it with the seller identity; do not treat it as a universal Jumia catalog key. |
| SID | A distinct value listed alongside JUMIA SKU, Product Name, and Seller SKU in Vendor Center search. | Preserve the exact label and value; the public guide does not define it as a substitute for the other keys. |
| GTIN barcode | A product barcode identifier. Jumia’s guidance calls for it when the package has a printed barcode and notes that some categories or brands may require it. | Keep it as a separate text value when supplied. Do not claim every item has or requires a GTIN. |
A Jumia variation family uses one criterion
Jumia’s seller guide describes a parent-child family of the same fundamental product and supports one variation criterion at a time. A selected option can have its own Seller SKU and GTIN, so retain the option and its identifiers with the product reference.
Scroll to compare →
| Variation case | Useful representation | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| One supported criterion | Illustrative size family: one garment offered in S, M, and L. | This is an example of a size-only family, not a live Jumia listing. |
| Size and color together | Keep the displayed option labels and page evidence; model only the one criterion supported by the seller guide. | Do not infer a combined size-plus-color variation key. The guide says color/shape are not supported as the family criterion because images are shared across options. |
| Different models | Keep distinct product families unless the seller’s catalog evidence establishes that they are the same fundamental item. | A similar title or image is not proof that two models are interchangeable variants. |
| Identifiers per option | Preserve an option’s Seller SKU and GTIN when the seller supplies them, alongside the JUMIA SKU and selected value. | Do not copy one option’s identifier onto every choice in the family. |
Compare Jumia Nigeria offers by seller and listing
The Nigeria storefront displays product listings with sellers, prices in NGN/₦, discounts, ratings, campaign labels, delivery information, and category-specific attributes. Treat these as time-stamped listing observations. Jumia’s buyer terms say Jumia is not a transaction party unless the listing identifies Jumia as the seller; a visible store badge is a source label, not independent verification.

| Field group | Record when visible | Keep separate from |
|---|---|---|
| Product listing | JUMIA SKU if shown, title, brand/model, category, selected option, URL, and observation time. | A seller offer or variant from a different page. |
| Seller | Displayed seller name and exact badge text, such as an Official Store label when present. | Jumia itself, unless the page identifies Jumia as seller; do not treat a badge as external verification. |
| Price | Displayed amount and NGN/₦ currency, with the exact current/reference price labels shown. | A final checkout total, another seller’s offer, or a price from another observation date. |
| Discount and campaign | Displayed discount, campaign label, eligibility wording, selected option, and timestamp. | A permanent discount or promotion available to every customer and seller. |
| Ratings and reviews | Rating value and review count as separate displayed fields, with the listing URL and time. | A verified product attribute or evidence that each seller’s offer has the same rating. |
| Delivery and charges | Destination or delivery context and a fee only when the listing clearly states it. | A fee inferred from another destination or a total not shown by the source. |
Keep Jumia Global charges with the cross-border offer
Jumia Global identifies products shipped to Nigeria from abroad. Store that label with the individual listing and keep the item price separate from any international shipping, customs, delivery, or other charge shown for that offer. The Global page’s delivery and fee wording can change, so do not turn it into a general price or delivery guarantee.

| Observed detail | How to record it | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| Market scope | The Nigeria storefront URL and the displayed Jumia Global or shipped-from-abroad label. | That a cross-border offer belongs to another Jumia country marketplace. |
| Item and charges | The listed item price plus each shipping/customs/delivery amount and label that is explicitly shown. | That all charges are included when a particular listing does not state them. |
| Delivery estimate | The estimate, destination context, and observation time if shown for the listing. | A fixed 10–20 day delivery promise or a universal no-extra-fee guarantee. |
| Comparison | Keep the Global offer as its own seller/listing observation beside domestic offers. | That a similar domestic product has the same seller, landed cost, delivery path, or availability. |
Jumia Express and seller-warehouse fulfillment describe different stock paths
Jumia’s seller guidance distinguishes inventory stored and handled at a Jumia warehouse from stock kept by the seller. These are seller-side fulfillment paths. A buyer-facing delivery estimate is a separate observation and can depend on the delivery location and current listing state.
Scroll to compare →
| Fulfillment detail | Seller guide describes | Keep distinct from |
|---|---|---|
| Jumia Express | Goods held at a Jumia warehouse; Jumia stores, packs, and ships them. | Seller-owned warehouse stock or a claim that every product is eligible for Express. |
| Seller warehouse | The seller holds and prepares stock, then hands orders to a drop-off center or pickup representative for delivery. | Jumia Express inventory or public proof of the seller’s exact stock count. |
| Buyer delivery | A destination-specific estimate if the current storefront displays one. | Warehouse location, seller handoff, or a guaranteed arrival date. |
| Inventory | Use only the stock labels and states the source actually exposes for the selected offer. | A public availability label as a precise or independently verified quantity. |
Read Jumia’s terms and robots.txt as separate access signals
Checked on 30 September 2026 Singapore time (UTC+8); this page’s content review stamp uses the UTC date, 29 September 2026. Nigeria buyer terms require express written consent for systematic automated collection, while the robots.txt file contains a comment describing a request-rate allowance. Those statements conflict: a robots.txt comment does not establish legal permission or override the terms.
Scroll to compare →
| Source signal | Current published material | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer terms | Section 10.9.9 requires express written consent for systematic or automated collection. Section 10.9.10 separately restricts robots, spiders, or other automated means except for search engine indexing. Sections 10.9.11–10.9.12 refer to public interfaces and compliance with robots.txt. | Do not imply consent exists or that robots.txt supplies it. Section 20.2 says revised terms take effect on publication; the inspected page shows no single overall effective date. |
| robots.txt comment | The live file says a clearly identified bot may scrape below 200 requests per minute and should provide an owner URL/contact. | This comment conflicts with the terms’ written-consent restriction; it is not authorization to collect or reuse Jumia content. |
| Crawl and AI directives | The file lists two sitemaps, allows Google-Extended (a training/grounding token according to the file comment, not a crawler), disallows CCBot, and has no named groups for GPTBot, ChatGPT-User, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, or ClaudeBot. | Those named agents inherit the wildcard rules. Faceted, search, and other paths remain restricted; a missing agent group does not mean every page is crawlable. |
| Seller API documentation | The Vendor Center API documentation portal was reachable, but endpoint scope was not independently inspectable in this review. JumiaPay’s merchant API documents payment acceptance and checkout. | Do not claim an open product catalog API or specific API access permission; JumiaPay is not a catalog API. |
