IndiaMART supplier data: listings, RFQs and quotes
Understand IndiaMART supplier listings, minimum order quantities, RFQs and seller quotes. Compare quantity, location and offer terms; check current Terms before compiling listings.
On IndiaMART, a listing is the first procurement record, not the deal.
IndiaMART describes a buyer and supplier discovery marketplace. Its app supports product search, requirements or enquiries, quote comparison and seller chat; its investor materials describe an RFQ moving through supplier matching and responses. Keep each stage separate: the public product listing, a buyer's request, a supplier's reply and any accepted order answer different questions.

| Record | Capture with its source and time | Do not treat it as |
|---|---|---|
| Product listing | Listing URL or visible ID, product/specification text, seller profile, displayed price wording and MOQ | A confirmed quantity available for sale. |
| Buyer requirement or RFQ | Requested item/specification, quantity and unit, destination, and submission time where authorized | A public listing or another buyer's private enquiry. |
| Supplier quote or reply | Seller, matched specification and quantity, amount/currency, delivery/payment terms, validity and response time if given | The listing price or an accepted order. |
| Accepted order | Order confirmation and its final product, quantity and negotiated terms when available to the authorized buyer | A chat, enquiry or quote that has not been accepted. |
Compare offers against one buying brief and one unit basis.
A low displayed amount can be misleading when its minimum quantity, pack size or price unit differs. Normalize the buyer's specification and requested quantity before comparing sellers. The example below is illustrative only: it is not a live IndiaMART listing, seller, or price.

| Illustrative fastener-sourcing record | Preserve | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Buyer brief | M6 × 25 mm stainless-steel hex bolts, requested grade, 1,000 pieces, delivery to Pune | Keep the specification, destination and quantity with every response. |
| Offer A | Seller's stated ₹/piece basis, MOQ in pieces, matching grade, lead time and freight terms | Compare only if the offered item and pack meet the same brief. |
| Offer B | Seller's stated ₹/kg basis, MOQ in kilograms, stated material and package terms | Do not rank against a per-piece amount until a valid weight conversion is supported. |
| Quote-only listing | Exact quote-required wording and the buyer request that prompted a reply | Do not create a numeric product price where none is displayed. |
Keep product, location, quantity and price in the match context.
IndiaMART InterMESH's January 20, 2026 investor presentation depicts product, location, price and quantity among the factors in marketplace matchmaking. Treat this as a company description of the platform model, not a guarantee that each search result uses every factor or that a matched supplier will fulfill an order. Preserve the buyer's requirement and destination beside the result that surfaced.

| Match context | Useful fields | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Product need | Category, model or material/grade, dimensions and required performance where stated | A similar title is not proof that specifications match. |
| Quantity basis | Requested quantity, unit, pack size and seller MOQ | Don't compare offers with incompatible units. |
| Buyer and delivery location | Buyer destination and any seller city/service area shown | A supplier's address alone does not confirm delivery coverage. |
| Offer context | Displayed price basis or quote-only state, currency, observation time and response time | A public amount is not necessarily the negotiated delivered price. |
Treat supplier badges as attributed evidence, not a product guarantee.
IndiaMART's app listing, updated September 2, 2026, names a “Know Your Seller” feature and describes payment protection for TrustSEAL sellers. Keep the exact feature or badge label, supplier profile and observation time; do not extend a seller-level indicator into a claim about a product, certification, current stock or future fulfillment.

| Evidence | Record | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Seller profile | Company name, location, stated business type and profile URL as displayed | That the listed item is currently available or meets a buyer's specification. |
| Know Your Seller feature | The exact seller details or status shown in the account/page context | A blanket independent audit of every product or transaction. |
| TrustSEAL or payment-protection label | The label, affected seller/offer and terms presented when reviewed | Coverage for sellers or payments outside the stated scope. |
| Product certificate or test document | Issuer, document name, product/model, scope and date if visible | A platform badge or seller statement in place of the product-specific document. |
Separate public listings from seller-side BuyLeads and CRM leads.
IndiaMART's app describes buyer enquiries and quote conversations separately from seller tools such as managing leads and finding BuyLeads. Zoho Marketplace describes the official IndiaMART Lead Manager extension as syncing the connected seller's leads, enquiries and PNS calls into that seller's CRM. This account-side workflow is not described as a public product-catalog feed; do not imply access to another seller's account or repurpose private contact and enquiry data.

| Workflow | Typical record owner | Keep separate from |
|---|---|---|
| Public product discovery | Public listing and displayed seller information | A seller's later reply or account-only lead record. |
| Buyer enquiry / RFQ | Buyer request and related communication, subject to the buyer/account's authority | A dataset of unrelated buyers or private messages. |
| BuyLead selection | Seller-side lead opportunity surfaced through IndiaMART | A newly published product listing. |
| Lead Manager CRM sync | The seller account connected to the CRM extension | A general endpoint for collecting India's public supplier catalog. |
Check IndiaMART's Terms before compiling listing data.
IndiaMART's published Terms of Use restrict systematic retrieval of site content to create or compile a collection, database or directory without written permission from IndiaMART. The same text refers to robots, spiders, automatic devices and manual processes. Read the current Terms and confirm written permission covers the intended source, fields, purpose and reuse before planning systematic collection. This guide is not permission or a statement that an IndiaMART extraction service is available.

| Question | What to verify | Keep in the project record |
|---|---|---|
| Is collection allowed? | Current IndiaMART Terms and any signed written permission | Permission scope, covered pages/data and date. |
| Does permission cover this use? | Collection method, intended purpose, storage, recipients and reuse | Approved source, fields, retention and downstream use. |
| Are account records involved? | Account owner authority, privacy terms and applicable data rules | Do not combine private enquiries or contact details with public catalog data without authority. |
| Has anything changed? | The Terms and written agreement applicable when work is performed | Recheck before a new or expanded project. |
