HexClad cookware: pan sizes, lid options and set details
Understand HexClad pan sizes, lid options, set contents, product specifications, care instructions and warranty scope from current product pages.
Hybrid cookware is one part of HexClad's wider catalog.
HexClad's Shop All menu separates Hybrid Cookware from Specialty Cookware and also lists knives and cutting boards, aprons, HexMills, kitchen tools, HexWear, cocktail shakers and gift cards. A Hybrid pan's material and care fields do not describe those other categories. Start with the department the product page names, then keep specifications tied to that item.

| Catalog area | Examples from the current menu | Fields that belong to it |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid Cookware | Fry pans, pots, woks, griddles and sets | Selected pan size, lid state, dimensions, construction and cookware care |
| Specialty Cookware | Roasting pans, pizza steel, Japanese-style cookware and BBQ grill pans | Use the named product's materials, dimensions and care; do not assume all are Hybrid pans. |
| Other store categories | Knives/boards, HexMills, kitchen tools, aprons, HexWear and cocktail shakers | Use the category's own item options and warranty instead of pan fields. |
| Partner or gift items | Gift cards and partner collections also appear in the store navigation | Keep a partner item or stored-value card distinct from a cookware product. |
Pan size and lid choice are separate product options.
The Hybrid Fry Pan page exposes size and lid as separate selectors. Its 12-inch page defaults to 12 Inch and No Lid; the selector also offers 7, 8, 10 and 14 Inch, and the lid control offers With Lid or No Lid. Preserve both selections with the product URL. A size label alone does not tell you whether a glass lid is part of the purchasable configuration.

| Page state | Source label | Record separately |
|---|---|---|
| Pan family | Hybrid Fry Pan | Product family and exact item page |
| Size choice | 7, 8, 10, 12 or 14 Inch | Selected diameter option; retain the unit and displayed wording. |
| Lid choice | With Lid or No Lid | Lid inclusion and the corresponding lid details |
| Selection example | 12 Inch + No Lid on the standalone 12-inch page | Do not treat the page title as proof that a lid is included. |
| Code shown on the product page | Capture a SKU or variant code only when HexClad displays one | Retain the source-exposed code or product URL with the selected options; do not invent an ID from the size selector. |
Specifications change with the exact pan and selected lid.
HexClad's current 12-inch product pages show why a catalog record should retain the exact page and option. The no-lid page and the with-lid page use different dimension and weight labels. Preserve each as published instead of combining them into one supposed universal specification.

| Official page | Displayed specifications | How to preserve them |
|---|---|---|
| 12-inch Hybrid Fry Pan, no lid | Flat-bottom diameter 11.4 inches; depth 1.84 inches; weight 3.4 lb; pan described as oven-safe up to 900°F | Keep these values with the standalone no-lid page and its selected 12-inch option. |
| 12-inch Hybrid Fry Pan with Lid | Flat-bottom diameter 11.4 inches; height 1.9 inches + 2.6-inch lid; weight 3.0 lb pan + 2.3 lb lid; lid described as oven-safe up to 400°F | Keep pan and lid dimensions and weights separate and retain the exact labels. |
| Construction description | Hexagonal stainless-steel ridges, TerraBond ceramic nonstick valleys and a tri-ply aluminum core | Attribute the materials and performance language to HexClad; do not extend it to every store category. |
| Care instructions | The product page calls for initial seasoning with a teaspoon of oil over medium-low heat for 2–3 minutes | Keep care guidance tied to the exact cookware line and recheck the manufacturer's current instructions. |
A cookware set needs its own component list and limits.
The current Hybrid Fry Pan Set with Lids, 6pc page lists three pan-and-lid pairs: 8-, 10- and 12-inch pans, each with a matching lid. Keep the bundle as a set record and each named pan and lid as a component. The set page also has a heat-limit inconsistency, so preserve both statements until HexClad clarifies which applies to the bundle.

| Set page evidence | What it says | Record treatment |
|---|---|---|
| What's included | Hybrid Fry Pan with Lid, 8; Hybrid Fry Pan with Lid, 10; Hybrid Fry Pan with Lid, 12 | Store three pan components and three corresponding lids under the named set. |
| Set summary | The page's summary says oven-safe up to 500°F, with matching glass lids up to 400°F | Keep 500°F attached to the set-summary wording; do not silently replace it. |
| Set feature list | A feature bullet says the pan is oven-safe up to 900°F; the lid is listed up to 400°F | This conflicts with the set summary's 500°F pan statement. Preserve both claims with their locations. |
| Set value and promotion | The set page displays changing price and savings fields | Do not use current price/value language as evergreen product identity; save it only with an observation date if needed. |
Care and warranty coverage depend on the product category.
HexClad's Warranty page checked September 30, 2026 says product terms vary. Cookware and cutlery have lifetime coverage against manufacturer defects, with exclusions; several other categories have shorter periods. A store-wide “lifetime” banner is not a warranty rule for every item, and a set can contain components with distinct coverage.

| Current warranty category | Posted period or condition | Keep in view |
|---|---|---|
| Cookware | Lifetime against manufacturer defects | Improper use, care, excessive heat and foodservice use are among stated exclusions. |
| Cutlery and HexMills | Lifetime against manufacturer defects | The warranty page lists category-specific exclusions; do not transfer cookware care rules to knives or mills. |
| BBQ tools | Two years against manufacturer defects | This is a different period from cookware. |
| Mixing bowls and splatter screens | One year against manufacturer defects | Check the separate exclusions for each category. |
| Aprons, totes, apparel and wood products | Thirty days against stated workmanship/material defects | These are not covered by a cookware lifetime term. |
| Returns and purchases | Terms of Sale govern product orders and refer to separate Website Terms of Use | Use the current product and policy pages for purchase, return and warranty details. |
