Farfetch product data: designer IDs, seller and destination
A field guide to FARFETCH IDs, seller context, designer sizing, pre-owned grades and destination-specific price and delivery context.
Match a Farfetch product using its retailer ID and designer style code
A FARFETCH UK product detail page can identify the marketplace listing with a FARFETCH ID and, where shown, a separate Brand Style ID. The retailer ID points to the FARFETCH-side item record; the designer code describes the brand's style. Match with the designer, name, category, displayed color/print and selected size, and keep the locale and observation time. Official indexed example checked October 4, 2026: the Miu Miu Ivy nappa-leather shopping bag result showed FARFETCH ID 38797739 and Brand Style ID 5BG342VOOO2BBL. The direct product-page open failed and that official result reported a crawl about three weeks earlier, so treat only those identifiers as a dated excerpt, not live offer data.

| Field | What to keep | Why the distinction matters |
|---|---|---|
| FARFETCH ID | Exact retailer label and item number from the detail page. | Identifies the Farfetch-side product record; it may not identify a seller, size or order. |
| Brand Style ID | Designer code exactly as displayed, if present. | Useful for style matching, but a shared style can have different seller, color, size or condition offers. |
| Description | Brand, product name, category, color/print and material details shown. | Names and imagery can be similar; keep the source detail URL as evidence. |
| Variant | Selected designer size, size system, color and fit context. | A displayed option is not evidence that another size or color is available. |
| Source record | Farfetch locale, URL and observation time. | Preserves which localized product detail supplied the fields. |
| Dated indexed example | Miu Miu Ivy nappa-leather shopping bag: FARFETCH ID 38797739; Brand Style ID 5BG342VOOO2BBL | Official UK search excerpt checked October 4, 2026; direct page open failed and the result was crawled about three weeks earlier. Do not treat it as live price or availability. |
Keep the Partner or Farfetch seller attached to an offer
FARFETCH UK Terms §§2–3 say the shopper generally purchases from the named Partner, although some products are sold by a Farfetch entity; the seller is identified on the page or order confirmation. The UK FAQ says partner-set prices can vary by source and destination. UK Terms §7 also allow a same-item Partner substitution in some out-of-stock cases, with notice; the seller changes, while the price does not exceed the original. Keep page offer, checkout, seller confirmation and fulfillment as different evidence stages.

| Offer evidence | Record | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Seller relationship | Named Partner or Farfetch entity only where the product page or order confirmation identifies it; retain the evidence stage. | Do not assign every item to Farfetch or every item to a boutique. |
| Seller/source location | Origin or stockpoint only when explicitly shown or available in an authorized order record. | Do not infer a boutique's country from the brand's nationality or the site's locale. |
| Product identity | FARFETCH ID plus Brand Style ID, color and selected size where present. | Same style identity does not prove the same seller-specific offer. |
| Order substitution | A notified change from the original Partner to another Partner for the same item, recorded as a separate order event. | The UK Terms say the customer will not pay more than the original price; do not infer a substitution from the product page. |
| Evidence strength | Product detail, checkout, order confirmation and fulfillment record as separate source stages. | A product page does not establish an accepted order or the final seller. |
Preserve designer sizing and Farfetch's exact pre-owned grade
The current FARFETCH UK FAQ separates designer size, fit, cut and material. It points to the product Size Guide for conversion charts, the Size & Fit tab for size/fit/cut/model measurements, and The Details tab for material composition and care. Its four pre-owned grades are distinct source labels; do not collapse them into a generic resale scale or merge pre-owned and new offers sharing a Brand Style ID.

| Source label | Farfetch meaning | Record it as |
|---|---|---|
| Unworn with tags | Previously owned but never used, in original condition, with original tags. | Pre-owned status plus exact grade and tag state. |
| Unworn | Previously owned but never used, in original condition, without original tags. | A separate grade from Unworn with tags. |
| Excellent | Previously owned and worn, but like new or with almost no signs of use; described as almost perfect with no defects. | Farfetch's own condition label, not a universal resale rating. |
| Good | Previously owned and worn with signs of use such as fading, patina or scratches. | Keep visible condition notes with the exact source grade. |
| Size and fit | Original designer size and size system; keep fit, cut and model measurements separately. Material composition and care are under The Details. | Keep source labels and conversions; do not infer fit or translate away the designer's label. |
| UK return context | The UK returns page says returns start within 30 days of delivery and pre-owned items should be returned in the condition received. | This is return policy, not a condition grade or proof that a specific item is returnable. |
Interpret price and delivery in the selected destination context
The current FARFETCH UK FAQ says prices are set by each brand or Partner boutique and the same item can differ by source and delivery destination. It says currency follows the selected delivery destination, the most accurate price appears after selecting that destination, and a bag or wishlist does not reserve an item at a price. The UK Terms distinguish item price, delivery costs and duties/taxes at checkout; retain the selected market because the displayed treatment can differ by destination.

| Amount or state | Context to capture | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed item price | Locale, delivery destination, seller/source if shown, selected size, condition and observation time. | That another destination or partner will show the same price. |
| Currency | Currency displayed for the selected delivery destination and at checkout. | That the same locale or amount applies to a different destination. |
| Original and reduced prices | Each displayed amount and its source label (original, sale, promotion or final). | That a markdown is a historical transaction price or applies to every size. |
| Delivery | Destination, displayed delivery choice and charge, plus separate-package/Partner context when shown. | One order always means one parcel or one stockpoint. |
| Duties and taxes | The selected destination and checkout wording for included or payable-on-arrival charges. | One global DDP/DAP rule for every market. |
| Availability | Selected option, page state, destination, source and observation time. | A bag or wishlist reserves price/stock, or a visible option confirms an accepted order. |
Read the UK Terms on extraction and database reuse
The FARFETCH UK Terms §13, checked October 4, 2026 (no update/effective date was displayed), says users must not systematically extract or re-use parts of the site/content; it specifically names data-mining, robots or similar tools extracting substantial parts for re-use, and requires prior written consent to create/publish a database featuring substantial parts such as prices and product listings. Keep this statement attributed to the linked UK Terms; it is not a universal market rule or a legal conclusion. FARFETCH robots.txt returned an internal error in this review, so its file directives remain unverified.

| Robots file | A direct FARFETCH robots.txt request returned an internal error on October 4, 2026. | File directives are unverified; keep separate from UK Terms §13. |
