Ecosense radon monitor data: model specs and authorized sources
Map Ecosense home and professional radon monitors by model, power, connectivity, display, modes, certification claims and authorized data source.
Terms gate: use authorized source material only
Ecosense's Terms of Service, last updated December 2025, list spidering, crawling and scraping among prohibited uses in §12. Section 2 restricts copying, resale or exploitation of the service, site or access without express written permission. The field guidance below is for an authorized feed, licensed export or other approved source only; public visibility does not create permission.

| Source boundary | Published wording or status | Scope for this page |
|---|---|---|
| Terms §12 · December 2025 | The Terms prohibit using the site or its content to spider, crawl or scrape. | No storefront collection steps are provided. |
| Terms §2 · December 2025 | Copying, reselling or exploiting the service, its use or access is restricted without express written permission. | Catalog fields below apply only to an authorized source. |
| robots.txt · checked 2026-10-04 | Unverified: the official endpoint remained inaccessible in the October 4 review. | No crawler directive or permission is inferred. |
Separate homeowner monitors from professional equipment
Ecosense's official pages describe home-use monitors and a separate professional range. A household device record, a professional continuous-monitor record and a four-device diagnostic system have different model, configuration and claim fields.

| Product family | Examples | Record focus |
|---|---|---|
| Home radon monitors | EcoQube Flex, EcoQube, EcoBlu, RadonEye | Single model; power, display, connection, app access and history features. |
| Professional continuous monitor | RadonEye Pro | Model-specific certification wording, reporting, connectivity, training and calibration scope. |
| Multi-device diagnostics | EcoTracker | Configured four-monitor system; retain per-unit identity, location label, mode, interval and included accessories. |
Home models differ by power, display and data access
The model distinctions below follow Ecosense’s comparison and product pages checked 2026-10-04. They describe manufacturer-published features, not independent performance testing.

| Model | Power and display | Connection and record profile |
|---|---|---|
| EcoQube Flex | 2 AA batteries; always-on E-ink display. | Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) app; no remote access. The listing’s storage row reads “1-year on device, cloud sync”; the source does not clarify the cloud retention horizon. Battery-life claims differ by mode: up to 7 years offline or about 2 years with regular BLE/app sync. The current home comparison lists hourly timestamped data. |
| EcoQube | Plug-in; LED color-indicator display. | 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi required; app and remote access. The product page currently markets this exact model as C-NRPP-approved and scopes its 72-hour My Radon Analysis feature to U.S. users. The comparison lists hourly timestamps and moving averages. |
| EcoBlu | Plug-in; LED display. | The comparison lists no app, connection or remote access; it lists 10-minute updates and no timestamped data. |
| RadonEye | Plug-in; OLED display. | Bluetooth app; no remote access. The home comparison says “Timestamped Data: No,” while the product FAQ says time-related data can be viewed in the BLE app and notes the RD200 has no internal clock for calendar-interval data on the device. The product page currently markets this exact model as C-NRPP-approved; keep each claim attached to its source section. |
Keep RadonEye Pro and EcoTracker as separate professional models
Professional pages carry different package and measurement-mode relationships. Keep every claim attached to its specific model and configured package.

| Equipment | Manufacturer-published details | Fields to preserve |
|---|---|---|
| RadonEye Pro | Described as an NRPP/NRSB-certified continuous monitor for professionals; app and web dashboard; Bluetooth and optional Wi-Fi; the page lists two-hour device-specific training, an included calibration certificate and annual in-house calibration for U.S. users. | Certification issuer and exact wording; reporting route; selected connectivity; included training/accessories; calibration offer, market and date. |
| EcoTracker | Package lists four monitors, case, four step-up cables, four extension cables and app access. BLE data communication; 5- or 10-minute Sniff Mode stores at those intervals, while CRM stores hourly moving averages. Listed capacity is up to one month, two months and one year respectively. Its FAQ says firmware 1.03A or later transitions to a 30-minute moving average after six 5-minute or three 10-minute points. | Bundle unit count; per-unit identifiers and accessories; location labels; selected mode and interval; storage capacity for that mode. Sniff records and CRM averages are distinct. |
Use a permissioned product record with explicit provenance
For a licensed feed, approved export or other authorized source, keep each value tied to the exact model or bundle. The catalog model does not include a household's radon readings or user account data.

| Record group | Suggested fields | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Identity and role | manufacturer; product_family; model_name; model_number_or_sku; audience/use_role; selected bundle configuration. | Keep one physical model distinct from a multi-device system. |
| Device operation | sensor_method_as_stated; power; connectivity_protocol/band; display; app/platform; remote_access. | Preserve source wording and model scope; do not reduce all connectivity to one smart/not-smart flag. |
| Measurement and claims | monitoring_mode; measurement_interval; averaging_period; storage_scope; certification_claim_and_issuer; included_accessories; calibration/training_scope; market. | Separate sensitivity, update cadence, averaging window, stored history and certification. |
| Provenance | source_url; captured_at; claim_attribution; exact model, option and bundle observed. | Exclude raw readings, customer/property identity, account data, private support details and health interpretations. |
Keep claims, measurement windows and dates attached
The source pages reopened on 2026-10-04 are time-bound manufacturer descriptions. Record the page, model, market and observation date with volatile claims; do not present product copy as an independent test or health assessment.

| Claim area | Record separately | Avoid inferring |
|---|---|---|
| Certification | Exact claim, named issuer, product model, market and source page. | A claim shown for one model does not establish certification for every Ecosense device. |
| Measurement behavior | Sensor sensitivity, result-update rate, averaging interval, timestamped history and storage horizon as separate fields. | A faster update does not equal a longer-term average, historical retention or certification. |
| Power and storage | Model-specific battery estimate, operating mode, sync behavior and storage location. | Offline battery-life and regular BLE/app-sync estimates are not interchangeable. |
| Radon readings | Keep any household or client measurement history outside a public product catalog. | Do not derive health conclusions, mitigation advice or property-level profiles from product listings. |
Verify selected models against current manuals and policies
Use the exact model guide and applicable policy page to verify bundle contents, returns, warranty or calibration terms. If commercial fields are part of an authorized dataset, store the selected model or bundle, market, currency and observation time; this page quotes no live price or stock value.

| Reference | Use it to verify | Record with the observation |
|---|---|---|
| Product user guides and quick-start guide | Model-specific setup, included components and operating details. | Model, manual URL and manual version/date when stated. |
| Returns policy · checked 2026-10-04 | Website returns: contact within 30 days; item unused and in original packaging; opened/used returns carry a 15% pre-tax restocking fee. The buyer pays return shipping except for the stated U.S. defective-unit exchange case. | Keep market, purchase channel, condition, and exchange/refund conditions attached; do not promise a universal free return. |
| Warranty policy · last updated 2025-08-19 | The policy describes 12 months from purchase or delivery (whichever is later) for an original purchaser through Ecosense or an authorized seller. Section 1 says consumer and commercial products; section 4 excludes commercial use. | The policy text contains a scope tension. Preserve its date and source; do not infer universal professional-device coverage. |
| Model-page warranty wording | EcoQube Flex, EcoQube, EcoBlu and RadonEye pages each show one year plus one additional year when registered within 30 days. RadonEye Pro and EcoTracker listings show one year. | Keep the exact model page, market, purchase channel and registration condition attached; do not transfer home-model extensions to professional equipment. |
| Professional calibration resources | Model-specific service scope and market limitations. | Instrument model, service description, market and date. |
| Authorized-data planning | Use shared field and scope references for an authorized source only. | For an authorized scope, document the permitted source and intended fields. |
