DRMTLGY skincare catalog data: products, ingredients and routines
Map DRMTLGY product types, exact concern and skin-type labels, SPF and active ingredients, formula sources, routine steps, and kit components.
Separate DRMTLGY Terms from robots rules and checkout notes
DRMTLGY's U.S. Terms and Conditions §12 lists spidering, crawling, scraping, and collecting or tracking other people's personal information among prohibited uses. The reviewed Terms extract shows no last-updated date. The robots.txt extract reviewed on October 4, 2026 was marked crawled last month; its path rules are a dated observation, not proof of permission. A separate Shopify-authored note addresses automated checkout and payment without final human review.

| Source | Observed statement | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| DRMTLGY Terms and Conditions §12 | Prohibited-use wording includes spidering, crawling, scraping, and collecting or tracking other people's personal information. | Attribute the wording to §12; no last-updated date is shown in the reviewed extract. |
| robots.txt, User-agent: * | The reviewed extract lists /cart, /orders, /checkouts/, /checkout, /carts, /account, /search, /policies/, and selected sorted or filtered collection URL patterns. | These are path directives from an extract marked crawled last month when checked October 4, 2026; do not infer permission or newly changed rules. |
| Shopify-authored Robots & Agent policy note | The note addresses automated scraping or buy-for-me checkout flows that complete payment without final human review. | Keep this checkout-specific note separate from DRMTLGY Terms and path-specific robots rules. |
| Public product pages | Catalog and product pages are viewable in a browser. | Visibility does not establish permission or an approved collection method. |
Map DRMTLGY product types and concern facets
The U.S. All Products catalog rechecked October 4, 2026 separates Shop By Product from Shop By Concern. These are observed storefront labels, not an exhaustive or permanent taxonomy. Acne is one concern label, not the catalog’s only category.

| Catalog facet | Labels observed October 4, 2026 | Field boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Shop By Product | Sunscreens; Moisturizers; Masks; Serums; Retinol; Exfoliants; Cleansers; Lip Care; Treatments; Toners; Body Care; Primer. | Store the displayed product-type label separately from the product name, formula and concern tags. |
| Shop By Concern | Anti-Aging; Eye Care; Neck Care; Acne; Dryness; Hyperpigmentation; Redness. | Keep source category labels separate from the concern labels shown for an exact item. |
| Cross-reference model | The storefront presents concern navigation alongside product-type navigation. | Do not infer an item concern from its name or ingredient. |
| Taxonomy snapshot | The labels above were visible in the U.S. catalog on the review date. | Retain source URL and observation date; omit catalog totals, offers and live availability. |
Keep product identity and ingredient evidence in separate fields
A product name, category, concern label, skin-type label, selector option, package size, SPF label and formula disclosure are different fields. The Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 listing separates Ingredient Highlights, Active Ingredients and All Ingredients, and warns that ingredients may change; it points to product packaging for an accurate ingredient listing.

| Field | Source evidence to capture | What not to infer |
|---|---|---|
| product_name and catalog_product_type | Exact product title and displayed product-type label for the selected listing. | A title or category is not a full ingredient statement or medical claim. |
| source_skin_concern_labels | Concern labels displayed for the exact product or catalog category. | Do not assign every catalog concern to each product. |
| source_skin_type_labels | Skin-type labels displayed for the exact product listing, when present. | These are source labels, not advice, diagnosis or proof of suitability. |
| variant_options_as_listed | Exact shade, size or other selector labels, including when the listing presents no shade selector. | Do not create options the listing does not show. |
| size_and_unit; spf_label | Displayed package quantity and SPF value as separate fields. | Do not derive SPF or size from an ingredient or product family. |
| active_ingredient_name; active_strength_and_unit | Names and percentages under that listing’s Active Ingredients heading. | Do not infer strength from the product name or transfer it to another formula. |
| ingredient_highlights; full_ingredients_as_listed | Highlights and the full ingredient panel captured separately, with item URL and observation date. | Highlights are not a complete formula; use the brand’s packaging caveat for ingredient accuracy. |
Scope SPF, skin labels and active strengths to each listing
These examples are tied to the exact U.S. listing rechecked October 4, 2026. Product labels and displayed fields do not provide skincare, treatment or sun-care advice.

| Exact product example | Fields displayed by that listing | Record boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Universal Tinted Moisturizer SPF 46 | The name carries SPF 46; the page displays 1.7 oz and lists Zinc Oxide 12% and Octinoxate 7.5% under Active Ingredients. | Keep SPF, size, active names and strengths separate and tied to this U.S. listing. |
| Universal tinted option | The FAQ describes a universal sheer tint and says there are no different shades. | Preserve the source wording; do not create shade SKUs or color-matching claims. |
| Item-level Skin Concerns | The same listing displays Environment, Uneven, Wrinkles, Redness and Healthy Skin. | Store as source_skin_concern_labels for this item only; do not restate as efficacy claims. |
| Item-level Skin Types | The same listing displays Normal, Dry, Combination and Oily. | Store as source_skin_type_labels for this item only; do not turn labels into recommendations. |
| Gentle Acne Cleanser | The page displays 6.9 oz and Salicylic Acid 2% under Active Ingredients. | Keep strength and quantity scoped to this listing; omit use directions and efficacy copy. |
| Ingredient disclosure | The SPF 46 listing separates ingredient highlights, active ingredients and the full ingredient list and says ingredients may change. | Store evidence type, page URL, U.S. market and observation date separately; retain the packaging caveat. |
Represent routine labels and kit components without personal inputs
The Routine Builder extract, marked crawled last week when checked October 4, 2026, organizes products selected by a shopper into numbered groups. Preserve those group names as storefront labels, not a prescribed use order or recommendation. The Skin Quiz also collects personal preference inputs; do not model its responses as public catalog fields.

| Record | DRMTLGY page example | Keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| routine_step_as_labeled | The builder labels groups Cleansers, Toners, Serums, Treatment, Eye Cream, Moisturizers, Sunscreens, Exfoliators and Masks, Primer, and Body. | Store source label and displayed position separately from catalog_product_type; do not provide regimen or use advice. |
| Personal selections | The builder says selected products populate a shopper’s routine; the linked Skin Quiz asks for personal inputs. | Exclude quiz answers, selected routines, inferred preferences, account inputs and other personal data. |
| Kit parent item | The Gentle Acne Kit listing names g(OAT) Cleanser®, Water Crème Moisturizer and Gentle Acne Serum. | Keep the kit identity distinct from each component product record. |
| Kit-scoped strength statement | That kit page describes its Gentle Acne Serum as powered by salicylic acid 0.5%. | Attribute the statement to this kit page only; do not generalize it to a standalone serum or independently verify a formula. |
Keep purchase plans, returns and market context time-stamped
The Gentle Acne Kit listing shows one-time and subscription purchase choices; DRMTLGY’s Auto-Ship page describes controls for shipment date, frequency and products. Keep purchase plan and cadence separate from formula and item identity. Policy extracts are customer-facing guidance and can change; use their linked current wording instead of turning it into a permanent product attribute.

| Commercial or policy field | Source-scoped observation | Capture rule |
|---|---|---|
| purchase_plan | The Gentle Acne Kit listing presents one-time and subscription choices. | Keep selected plan separate from item identity, variant and kit components. |
| cadence and plan controls | Auto-Ship describes adjusting shipment date, frequency and products; the page permits pausing, skipping or canceling. | Capture current plan state only when the exact listing displays it; omit the volatile savings claim. |
| market, currency and amount | A dated record can retain U.S. market, displayed currency, selected item or variant, amount and observation time. | Do not publish current prices, discounts or stock as durable facts. |
| returns policy | The policy extract, marked crawled two days before the October 4 review, says to contact DRMTLGY within 60 days of purchase to request an RMA and postmark the return within two weeks of the RMA. | This is policy wording, not a product attribute or guarantee; link to the current policy and recheck before relying on it. |
| availability and delivery | Availability and delivery wording can vary by item and observation. | Do not turn checkout, shipping or stock states into evergreen facts. |
