Coppel product data: cash prices, credit and Marketplace sellers
A field guide to Coppel.com SKUs, Marketplace sellers, cash prices, credit displays and changing offers. Review posted terms before using product content.
Coppel’s seller label changes what an offer means.
A Coppel.com product page can show an offer sold by Coppel or by an authorized Marketplace seller. The Terms describe Marketplace purchases as a transaction between the customer and the named seller, who is responsible for order fulfillment and product obligations. Keep the listing, seller wording and offer together; “Vendido y entregado por” is an attribution field, not decoration.

| Listing detail | What to record | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Seller label | Exact displayed “Vendido y entregado por” name and the page where it appears | Do not assign a third-party offer to Coppel just because the listing is on Coppel.com. |
| Marketplace seller | Seller identity attached to this listing and observation | Do not assume Coppel is the seller or is responsible for every seller-side order duty. |
| Listing URL | The exact product page and any public category context | Do not merge similarly named pages or treat a category result as a product record. |
| Offer context | Online channel, seller, selected option and observation time | Do not carry seller, price or availability from one offer to another. |
| Product description | Source of the text, such as Coppel or the Marketplace listing | Do not present seller-supplied facts as independently verified by Coppel. |
A Coppel SKU identifies a source listing, not every version of a product.
Coppel pages label a “Código de producto (SKU).” Store that value in Coppel’s own identifier field beside the page URL, title, brand and model. Keep a selected size, color or configuration separate when a page presents one. A seller name or product title alone is not a safe way to join Coppel listings to another retailer’s catalog.

| Field | Source value to preserve | Use it carefully |
|---|---|---|
| Coppel product code | The displayed SKU/code and the exact page URL | Do not assume it is a GTIN, manufacturer part number or universal product key. |
| Product identity | Title, category, brand and model, with original source labels | Keep title and model separate; do not use title similarity as proof of a match. |
| Selected option | Displayed size, color, configuration or other selection, when present | Do not combine separate options unless the page identifies them as one product variant. |
| Seller identity | Coppel or the displayed Marketplace seller name | Keep it attached to the offer and order observation. |
| Observation | Date and time, page URL and the visible selection state | A code without its source and observation context may be ambiguous. |
“Precio de contado” and a credit schedule describe different amounts.
Coppel product pages can show a cash amount and separate Coppel credit copy. Preserve “Precio de contado exclusivo para Coppel.com” as the online cash-price label. If the page also shows “Desde … quincenales,” a displayed total, term or initial payment, keep each value with its wording and selected option. Coppel’s published text says the payment, term and initial amount can depend on a customer’s credit margin and payment history.

| Displayed label | Record separately | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Precio de contado | Cash amount, currency, current option and any online-only wording | Compare with another cash price for the same product, option and seller context. |
| Precio anterior / descuento | Reference amount and promotion wording when the page shows them | Keep the discount display separate from the amount currently charged. |
| Abonos quincenales | Installment amount, displayed cadence and any accompanying term/total | Do not treat the installment amount as the cash price or infer missing finance costs. |
| Pago inicial / plazo | Displayed initial amount and term, each with the page and observation date | Do not assume a common schedule or customer eligibility across products. |
| Currency and tax | The site states online prices in MXN including applicable taxes | Do not compare a tax-inclusive MXN page amount with a different currency or tax basis without normalizing it. |
Coppel.com prices, stock and delivery are dated page states.
The Terms updated in May 2025 say Coppel.com prices, promotions and availability are site-specific, can change without notice and may differ from physical stores or by location. Marketplace stock is tied to the authorized seller. Record what the page shows at a particular time; do not convert one product page into a nationwide or in-store availability claim.

| Observation | What to retain | Avoid claiming |
|---|---|---|
| Promotion state | Current and reference amount, offer wording, seller and selected option | Do not treat a site promotion as a permanent or store-wide price. |
| Availability | The page’s displayed availability and the seller for that offer | Do not infer all-market stock or availability at a physical Coppel store. |
| Delivery wording | The page’s delivery estimate or condition with its visible date/location context | Do not convert a conditional product-page message into a delivery service guarantee. |
| Location context | A publicly displayed location only when the page clearly exposes it | Do not collect customer account, address, payment or credit data. |
| Observation time | Timestamp, page URL, seller and option state | Do not compare observations from different dates as though they were simultaneous. |
Coppel’s posted terms restrict reuse of site content.
