ColourPop product data: shades, ingredients and set contents
A field guide to ColourPop’s shade options, palette pans, finish labels, shade-level ingredients, bundles and changing offers. Review ColourPop’s site terms.
ColourPop products, shades and sets sit at different levels.
ColourPop listings can combine selectable product options, named palette pans and several member products inside a set. Keep the parent product, each purchasable option, any pan-level details and bundle membership in separate but related records. The current Peach Jelly page describes a 9-pan palette; the current Rainbow Rush set page lists six palette members and 54 shades total. Those counts belong to those pages and should not be generalized to other sets.

| Record level | ColourPop example or source field | How to model it |
|---|---|---|
| Parent product | A palette, single shadow, lip product or other format | Keep the product page identity, name and format together; do not use a shade name alone as the product key. |
| Selected option | A shade or other option displayed by a product selector | Preserve the displayed label and a source variant identifier only when the page exposes one. |
| Palette pan | A named shade inside a fixed palette such as Peach Jelly | Treat the pan as a child attribute of the palette unless it is separately sold as an option. |
| Set member | One named palette or product included in a parent bundle such as Rainbow Rush | Keep member products and any stated set-level shade count under the bundle; do not divide the total across members without evidence. |
| Observation | The exact page and option state reviewed | Store source URL and review time with the page-specific data; a category page is not a product record. |
A pan’s name, finish and color description are separate fields.
ColourPop's Peach Jelly page currently describes four finish labels: Matte, Metallic, Matte Sparkle and Super Shock. Store those source labels with the pan they describe. Color language such as a brand's shade descriptor is useful search text, not a standardized color measurement, and swatch images do not supply calibrated color values.

| Detail | Example of source presentation | Keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| Palette and pan count | A palette page identifies its own pan count and named pans | Retain the count at the palette level and pan names as children; do not treat pans as product options automatically. |
| Finish | The Peach Jelly page uses Matte, Metallic, Matte Sparkle and Super Shock | Preserve the exact source label per pan. A palette-level list of finishes does not assign a finish to every pan. |
| Shade description | Brand-authored shade and tone language | Keep the original phrase attributable to ColourPop; do not normalize it into an exact hue or skin-match value. |
| Visual reference | Product and swatch images shown with the palette | Treat an image as a visual reference, not a colorimetric measurement or permission to republish it. |
| Package quantity | The current That's Taupe image alt text includes packaging quantity text | Record whether a detail came from page copy, packaging or image alt text. Verify the package before treating alt text as a net-quantity fact. |
Attach ingredient text to the exact shade and formula.
The current Peach Jelly palette page displays ingredient blocks under shade or formula labels and may give a separate May Contain line. A Little Dramatic HydraPop Lip Stain presents a selected shade and an ingredient block at its own product page. These layouts make the parent page alone too broad a key for ingredient data.

| Ingredient record | Source relationship | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Product-level list | An ingredient block shown for a product when no option-specific list is stated | Do not assign it to every shade or formula if the page shows more specific blocks. |
| Shade/formula list | A list placed under a named shade or formula identifier | Keep the label, identifier when shown, full list and source product page together. |
| May Contain | A separate conditional colorant statement where the source displays one | Store it in its own field; do not merge it into the base list or say each listed colorant is present in every pan. |
| Missing or unclear mapping | An ingredient block that lacks a clear shade/formula association | Keep the association unknown until the source identifies it; do not infer from neighboring pans. |
| Safety question | An ingredient list copied from a product page | This is source transcription, not allergy guidance, a safety assessment or a guarantee about a formula. |
Scope product claims, collaborations and bundles to their source page.
ColourPop product pages may display claims, selected shades, collection or collaboration names, and set membership. For example, the current A Little Dramatic lip stain page displays claims for that product. Record exactly where a claim appears and do not extend it to other shades, products or the brand catalog without separate evidence.

| Information | Keep with | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Product claim or badge | The named product or option page and date reviewed | A page-level badge is not an independently tested or catalog-wide guarantee. |
| Collaboration or collection | The stated collection name and products explicitly associated with it | Do not treat a theme or licensed character mention as proof of a continuing license or current availability. |
| Limited-edition wording | The specific page and wording that states the status | Do not infer a permanent or discontinued status from a category label alone. |
| Set membership | The parent bundle and each listed member product | A bundle's member list and value language are not component-level sale prices. |
| Source wording | The exact statement and its page context | Do not turn promotional language into a product specification or a brand-wide claim. |
Record ColourPop offers as dated page states.
ColourPop product pages can display a regular or compare-at price, a selected-option price, promotion text, bundle value language and availability. These can change independently. Save the page state with its currency and observation date rather than treating a sale banner or bundle value as the regular price of every item.

| Offer detail | Record | Comparison rule |
|---|---|---|
| Displayed price | Current and compare-at amount, currency, product and selected option | Do not drop the option or currency when comparing amounts. |
| Promotion | Offer text, dates or threshold and the products it applies to when stated | A sitewide or order-threshold offer is conditional, not a permanent product price. |
| Bundle value | The parent set price/value statement and listed members | Keep bundle-level and component-level figures distinct. |
| Availability | The page's displayed availability state and selected option | A page state is time-specific and does not establish stock across all options. |
| Observation time | Date and time the page state was reviewed | Use dated records for a price history; do not combine observations from different options or dates. |
ColourPop’s posted Terms define access, reuse and linking boundaries.
The current ColourPop Terms of Use state an effective date of March 6, 2020 and say the terms may be updated. Sections 9 and 10 limit content use and restrict robots, spiders, data mining and scraping for extraction or reproduction without prior written consent. Section 13 says users may not link to ColourPop without prior written consent. This guide reports the posted wording, does not make a legal determination and offers no retrieval or bypass instructions. The official pages were reviewed on September 30, 2026.

| Question | Source-specific answer | Page boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Does May Contain mean every listed colorant is in each pan? | No. Keep that conditional line separate from the base ingredients and tied to the source's label. | Do not provide an allergy or safety conclusion. |
| Does one product badge apply across ColourPop? | No. Preserve claims with the product or option page where they appear. | Do not convert a product page claim into a brand-wide promise. |
| What do the posted terms say about automated extraction? | They prohibit robots, spiders, data mining or scraping technology for extraction or reproduction without prior written consent. | Do not present public visibility or this guide as permission or a way around the terms. |
| Section 13 linking statement | The posted Terms say users may not link to ColourPop without prior written consent. | This stated linking restriction is separate from the Terms’ automated-extraction and content-use clauses. |
| Which source materials were checked? | Terms of Use; Peach Jelly palette; Rainbow Rush set; A Little Dramatic lip stain; ColourPop Eyeshadow collection; That's Taupe palette, reviewed September 30, 2026. | Product pages and promotional states can change; recheck source wording before using a later observation. |
