Botslab product data: dash cams, camera kits and storage

Compare Botslab G980H dash cams and W510 security kits by channels, resolution, storage, included parts and feature requirements.

Choose the Botslab product family before comparing specifications.

Botslab's storefront covers dash cams, indoor and outdoor security cameras, window cameras, video doorbells and accessories. A camera system and a vehicle dash cam have different units, storage and installation requirements, so start with the exact model and product class. The reviewed listings used the US (USD) storefront selector; regional catalog content can differ.

Product classUseful identity fieldsCommon comparison mistake
Dash camModel, channel count, camera positions, per-position resolution, included card and parking-mode requirementsTreating one headline resolution as the resolution of every channel or recording mode.
Home security kitSystem model, included camera count, base station, local storage and selected kit optionTreating an add-on camera as a standalone system or confusing base-station storage with an SD card.
Single camera, doorbell or accessoryExact model, indoor/outdoor/window/doorbell type, power/storage details and compatible host modelAssuming accessories fit every camera or that a neighboring device's specs apply.

G980H resolution depends on channel mode; G980H Pro is a separate model.

The G980H family pages describe more than one camera layout. Keep the mode, positions and resolution together. The G980H Pro is not the four-channel configuration with a different name. The G980H product page says time-lapse, collision-detected recording and Sentry Mode require the separately sold hardwire kit; the Pro spec also marks its hardwire kit as not included.

Treat each W510 camera count as a system configuration.

The reviewed W510 product page offers 2-, 4-, 5-, 6- and 8-camera kits plus a W510 add-on camera explicitly marked “Not for Standalone Use.” The selected kit count is a bundle attribute; it is not a camera variant or the number of cameras supported by every Botslab device.

Subscription statementThe W510 listing says “No Monthly Fee” alongside local H200 storage.Scope this statement to the listed W510/local-storage claim; do not extend it to every camera or any separate cloud service.

One W510 product page contains a dash-cam FAQ block.

The W510 security-kit page later shows questions about front/cabin/left/right dash-cam channels, a G-sensor clip and a 128GB card. Those details match the road-camera product family, while the W510 page describes a home base station with 32GB local storage and optional HDD expansion. Do not merge that FAQ block into W510 specifications.

This editorial example organizes G980H fields from Botslab's linked public specifications. It describes the four-channel recording mode; other G980H layouts remain separate configurations.

Public product pages do not describe a user's camera or device data.

The storefront Privacy Policy, last updated September 6, 2026, covers website, browsing, account and purchase information. A separate official device/app privacy agreement describes app registration and binding a device. A public product record may describe stated camera capabilities, compatible accessories and included storage; it should not contain a user's live feed, recorded clips, GPS route, account data or device identifiers.

Posted Terms restrict access and reuse; robots status remains unknown.

The displayed Botslab Terms of Service have no visible effective or modified date. Section 1 limits use of the Services to personal, non-commercial use and restricts reuse of site materials without prior written consent. Section 13 names robots and spiders, scraping and data-gathering or extraction tools, AI tools (including agentic AI), automatic devices/processes and automated or manual means of access among its restrictions; it also names collection of others' personal information and bypassing robot-exclusion or security controls. This summarizes the posted Terms only and is not a legal determination. The official robots.txt endpoint returned an error on October 3, 2026, so its directives remain unknown; that response is not permission.
